1.i focused on the colors more than the forms here while I believe failed to convey the dynamic form of the picture

2. I wanted to adopt the same dynamic as given by the picture, the fox hanging on to the eagle while they're both lifted by the wings, by wedging two ovoid plinth and balancing them on top of a cone to give off verticallity

3. I crafted an ovoid plinth and wedged it to a tilted cylinder to characterize the swirl in he dress. I wedged a cone on the top corner of the cylinder to portray the movemet of her hand and leg

4.i used half an ovoid as my base , to portray leg strength, and balance a sphere on top of a tilted cylinder to characterize the upward tention portrayed in the body language

concept

Create two models using both curvi and recti forms. One inspired by a movie poster and the other inspired by an album cover

Feedback:

I was able to abstract the album cover in a very creative yet discrete way and still maintain its properties and concept when it came to abstracting the movie poster, i took notice of certain details and decided to focus my model on them, but failed to acknowledge the poster as a whole, leaving out some prominent details

I used both curvi and rectilinear forms to show the contrast between good and evil and how people sometimes put on a facade to portray some things that aren't their true selves. I used the two cones to show how evil can taing the good

i was inspired by all the motion conveyed through the poster and decided to portray it by piercing multiple curvi and recti forms into one main dominant form

we were asked to design a lantern inspired by a car brand

I decided to base my design on mini cooper

I was inspired by the curvy exterior the car gives off while still maintaining its rectilinear qualities

Feedback:

I was able to abstract the logo and create a lantern aligned with my inspiration and keywords; however, i mistook the assignment to be a product design, not a 3d composition, and ultimately failed to satisfy the 3D views required

Steps: 1. 2.

I started off by creating a recticurvi base to match that of the car

I wedged two cylindrical forms into the top corners of the baser to give the impression of the car's unique lanterns

I cut off oriental patterns on the translucent part of the lantern to give off Ramadan vibes

lastly, I decided to aim my focus on the British flag imprinted on the car's roof by wrapping it indirectly around the lantern and making it the main focus of the product

We started off by creating 2 individual models with our own chosen keywords and then we were assigned to groups of 4. As we worked in pairs, we started to dissemble our models and think about what we could come up with using there fragments, to create completely diffrent models portarys 3 compleltly diffrent emotion

Feedback:

I was able to work and develop my previous models into more abstract, neat, and relative ones. I focused do developing my 3D views and succeded in portraying them.

I designed this this model inspired by the youthfulness the car provides by using colorful twisted cylinders insipired by the colors of the British flag

2. fragments

I i started off by cutting a cylinder into fragments and aligingthem into a curviture model. then i cut of a rectangle into 4 pieces to represent the british flag from the top view

3. recti-curvi

i used a twisted cylinder and wedged 3 rectangles into the voids to give off the impression of the logo from top view

I started by cutting a rectangle through the middle and then pierced another rectangle into the first. then I added a red ribbon on the top corner to give the impression of the British flag

Create two models using lines and planes to portray 3 personality traits

Feedback:

Every pair described their partners in 3 words that would act as keywords for the models created. My plane model received great feedback as it successfully projected the 3D view. I was advised to merge the ends of the wire together to connect the start and end of the wire

concept

We were asked to design a giveaway product for the customers of an international engineering consultation corporation called CO.

I decided to create my design for their 30th anniversary

I started by crafting three curves on top of each other to represent how the corporation is dependent on multiple aspects to succeed then I created a large loop to represent the international aspect; then I pierced the corporation's logo within to show how impactful and influential the organization is to the whole world

I topped it off by creating three metal curves representing creativity, flexibility, and stability, along with the 30th-year anniversary

Feedback:

My model was successful in representing the concept I was going for.I managed to deliver a clear concept while still maintaining the abstraction required. It was ranked one of the best Grade : 8/10

create a sculpture using wires and planes to represent your personality

Feedback:

(2) creating a lantern from wires was understandable, but creating one from planes was a bit confusing although i tried really hard to keep up with my inspirations and keywords representing the brand

(1) although using wire and planes together was a new concept, I really enjoyed modeling them together and experimenting with their flexibility to come up with a model representing myself
2.

i focused on verticality to portray confidence and free spirit. adding the curves and bents into wire adds to the feeling of flexibility and freedom. I created the verdical plane out of inspition of the soul musical key. i created a bundel of wired inclosed in a curved plane to charictalise the soul

I created 4 circles by curving the wire to give the impression of thebritish flag

I created twisted and bent planes to give the impression of flexibility and the curves of mini cooper that are represented in the lanterns of the car
