PLACE: Climate, Soil, Natural Resources and Industry of KUNENE Climate From October to April, the average temperature are 20°C to 34°C. From May to September, temperatures drop below freezing. The humidity gets highest around March.

Soil In upper Kunene the characteristics are 98% Ferralsols, 2% Leptosols.

In middle Kunene it is 44% Arenosols, 36% Ferralsols, 10% Luvisols, 8% Vertisols, 2% the Fluvisols. In lower Kunene it is 75% Leptosols, 17% Cambisols, 5% Luvisols, 3% Regosols.

Natural Resources There is the sun which is very bright. There is rivers like Kunene river.

There is waterfalls like Ruacana Falls. There is trees like Ombalantu Baobab Tree.

Industry Opuwo Beads and Bracelets is a company that makes traditional accessories like necklaces, dolls and many other things. Pots of hope is a company that does pottery, makes jugs and many other things.

Explanation of the adjective

It is a very hot region

because

The region has the sun beating down hard

It is a dry place

because

Since the sun is so hot it doesn't rain a lot and the water runs out

It is very rocky

With the land there are a lot of rocks around

It is extremely sandy

because

With all the sand dunes and the ocean it has a lot of sand

The area is really yellow

because

With all the sand and the dry ground it makes it look yellowish

It has very passionate people

It has a lot of tribe people dance and sing with joy and happiness

It has tall hills

With the rivers a lot of trees grow around it

It has a wide range of people

With the different Landmarks it attracts many people and it has the tribe people

It has beautiful animals

Since the Etosha national park is there there are different animals in Kunene

It is a very poor place

because

The place does not have a lot of money since the government is not given a lot of money.

What I learned about myself while doing this project: I can sometimes be lazy while doing the work. I am committed to finishing the work.

I think since the thing looked long I thought it would take forever to finish. I learn something everything I do a project like I learned a lot about Kunene. I could be doing my work earlier to make life easier.

I am ready to do the big work. I do better when work is broken down and you do little pieces separate. I do my best when doing big work but I could do better. When I do big work I don't do so well when I have to do everything at once. There is still a lot more for me to learn about Namibia still. I need to investigate more about the places am leaving in.
