he Washington Free Beacon on Friday informed the House Intelligence Committee of the fact that it is funded largely by anti-Trump Jewish billionaire Paul Singer. Singer, the Free Beacon's largest funder, hired Fusion GPS to investigate US President Donald Trump during his presidential campaign in what is known in politics as "opposition research.". Fusion GPS put together the now infamous dossier during the 2016 campaign, which fueled speculation of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. The report claims the Kremlin possessed serious and ‘compromising’ information on Trump that occurred during a stay in Moscow. According to Washington Free Beacon Editor-in-Chief Matthew Continetti, the site did not pay Fusion GPS for any part of the dossier. According to The New York Times, the contract between Fusion GPS and the Free Beacon ran from October 2015 to until last May In a statement, Continetti said, "During the 2016 election cycle we retained Fusion GPS to provide research on multi-

ple candidates in the Republican presidential primary, just as we retained other firms to assist in our research into Hillary Clinton." "The Free Beacon had no knowledge of or connection to the Steele dossier, did not pay for the dossier, and never had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele." Steele, a British spy, is claimed to be the source of information, most of it uncorroborated, about Trump's involvement with Russia.

Christopher Steele is alleged to have compiled a dossier from Russian sources

"The Washington Free Beacon has issued a statement asserting that it had no involvement with Christopher Steele or the dossier he compiled from Russian sources. The Beacon has agreed to cooperate with the House Intelligence Committee to help the Committee verify this assertion," House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence spokesman Jack Langer told Breitbart News. Reports later revealed that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee continued funding Fusion’s work. (INN)

The Israeli Diaspora Aff irs Ministry donated $1 million in relief aid to Houston's Jewish community after Houston was devastated by Harvey in August. "We are full of gratitude," said Avital Ingber, the chairperson of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston. Everywhere [I go], people talk about the aid the State of Israel provided under your leadership." "The members of our community were always there for the State of Israel when we needed help, and what we did was the least we could do in the face of the distress faced by the community and the families," Bennett said. "The State of Israel has a special responsibility towards every Jew in the world." The Jewish community of Houston was greatly affected by Hurricane Harvey. Jewish schools were rendered unusable. Even today, over 2 months after the storm, thirteen percent of Jewish families in Houston do not have permanent housing after their homes were destroyed by fl ods. In a related development, with thousands of people still displaced two months after Hurricane Harvey fl oded swaths of eastern Texas, leaving heavily damaged homes and property, Chabad of Houston is directing funds raised towards immediate uses. One of them is Jewish education. To date, more than $120,000 has been provided to

help families impacted by the storm pay day-school tuition for their children. According to Rabbi Chaim Lazaroff, program director for Chabad Lubavitch of Texas, a few hundred families with children in area Jewish day schools have received fin ncial assistance to help offset expenses and more are in the process of applying for aid. “We wish we could write off everyone’s tuition obligations, but that would come to more than $2 million, says the rabbi. “The $500 per child subsidy is See Houston Jewish Leaders , page 38

resident Donald Trump said on Saturday he would release all documents related to President John F. Kennedy's assassination. “After strict consultation with General Kelly, the CIA and other Agencies, I will be releasing ALL #JFKFiles other than the names and addresses of any mentioned person who is still living. I am doing this for reasons of full disclosure, transparency and in order to put any and all conspiracy theories to rest, he tweeted. The National Archives and Records Administration on Thursday night released 2,891 documents on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on its website. At the same time, President Trump said some of the documents would remain secret for the time being, following last-minute recommendations of his national security agencies that some of those records be redacted. In a memo to heads of intelligence, Trump said "the American public expects and deserves its government to produce as much access as possible to the John F. Kennedy assassination records." "I am ordering today that the veil final y be lifted" on the records, the memo said.

The National Archives and Records Administration on Thursday night released 2,891 documents on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on its website.

"I have no choice — today — but to accept those redactions rather than allow potentially irreversible harm to our nation's security," the president wrote in the memo, in reference to the documents which remained confide tial. Trump said he is ordering agencies to review “each and every one of those redactions over the next 180 days. “At the end of that period, I will order the public disclosure of any information that the agencies cannot demonstrate meets the statutory standard for continued postponement of disclosure, he wrote. The CIA, meanwhile, said last Thursday night that more than 69,000 of the more than 87,000

CIA records pertaining to the assassination of Kennedy have already been released in full. The agency added that none of the 18,000 remaining records will be withheld in full and that the redacted — or blacked out — parts of these remaining records represent less than 1 per cent of the total CIA information in the assassination-related documents. The CIA explained the redactions were made to protect information that, if released, would harm national security. The redactions hide the names of CIA assets and former and current CIA offic s as well as specific intelligence methods See WH Vows to Release All , page 38
