This was for sure our biggest achievement and adventure with the Eleuthera Sailing Academy until now. Where last year we represented Eleuthera with 5 kids, this year we took 20 kids to Nassau where the National Optimist Championships were held at the Nassau Yacht club For some, it was their first official race and for the first time sailing in a different place -and for someotherstheirfirsttimeonaplane!

A N I G H T T O R E M E M B E R April was a SPECIAL month We held our first official regatta on our own Sound Coaches, sailors, and empires flew in from all over the Bahamas and as far as Argentina! A traditionofanannualteamraceeventwasborn.WhatanAMAZINGweek!! Atthesametime,neighborsfromalloverEleutheraorganizedanoutstandingfundraiser party with a silent auction to raise funds to support our program Unicorn Cay, one of the most beautiful houses on the island, was the location (Thank you Jane & Scott for having us!). We could not have dreamed of a better party to share ESA with the community!
