HISTORIA En TAU nos sentimos comprometidos con las personas, con la sociedad, y con el medioambiente. Nos mueve el valor que aporta lo que hacemos, y por eso potenciamos que nuestros productos incidan en el Bienestar, en la Sostenibilidad Integral entendida como respeto medioambiental, facilidad de uso, durabilidad, bajo mantenimiento y en el Diseño en un sentido amplio que incluye el componente estético, la funcionalidad del producto en el habitat y la experiencia de uso que provoca cuando interactúa con las personas. Nos focalizamos en la Mejora de la Calidad de Vida a través de soluciones innovadoras para el hábitat, desarrolladas bajo las premisas del Design for All, o Diseño Orientado por las Personas, y que sitúan al Usuario en la pieza clave de todos los proyectos. TAU aporta soluciones constructivas que permiten mejorar la califcación energética de los edifcios, que prolongan su vida útil, que reducen su mantenimiento, que agilizan su reforma, que reducen su huella de carbono, que respetan el patrimonio histórico, que potencian la estética, que incorporan tecnologías no invasivas, que inducen sensación de bieninvasivas, que inducen sensación de bien estar,... en defnitiva, que contribuyen a la sostenibilidad integral y a la mejora de la calidad de vida. TAU ha sometido su producción al estudio del Análisis del Ciclo de Vida - ACV. El Análisis del Ciclo de Vida evalúa todos los impactos ambientales de un producto desde la extracción de las materias primas, pasando la producción, distribución, uso, y hasta la eliminación final tras agotar su vida útil. Supone la cuantificación de todas las entradas de recursos (energías, materias primas, agua) y de todas las emisiones (en estado sólido, líquido y gaseoso). La línea TAU Ecotile cuenta con una certifcación auditada externamente sobre el contenido en material reciclado que incorpora. Actualmente todo el porcelánico esmaltado contiene en su composición un 25 % de material reciclado. Ello supone una reducción equivalente de extracción de arcillas, de su transporte y de su procesado. La marca TAU ha ganado un lugar importante en el mundo de la cerámica. La calidad, el diseño, el servicio y la innovación han estado presentes en todas las áreas de la empresa.

Three generations that share the same great passion: ceramics for design. A history of commitment and dedication, which began with Giuseppe, Gambarello, a pathfinder in his field, and was continued by his daughter, Ivana, by his son-in.law Mr. Pozzi and his grandson. Today, Gmabarellu is a aceramic group that is renowed worldwide. Its products are distributed in over 50 countries, thanks to modern production facilities established all over Italy. The “secret” behind this success lies in the cohesion of the Gambarelly family and in the ability to combine technology and researchm design and traditionm which are the essential lquelaities needed to guarantee constante growth of teh group. The voaction on the research of Gambarelli is attested by the several possessed patents: Metal Stone ( the tile with metal applications), Double face ( the tile usable on both sides ) In the 2009 an important corporate reorganization, set up the Gruppo Ceramiche Gambarelli Spa, including on the shareholding the brothers Pozzi, Finanziaria Senese di sviluppo (www.fises.it) and Fidotoscana (www. fiditoscana.it), merchant bank of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena.
