Ailis Vann, director of Palmer Chamber of Commerce, was the first to suggest the idea of a virtual version of another event, Cash Mob. She went to the founder of Cash Mob, Denise Statz, and then to Ronalee Moses, owner of Peak Boutique, and they proved the concept! It was only natural that Who Let The Girls Out would stay that course, and that’s how Who Let The
Girls Out went virtual! Tune in to our Facebook Live session, on April 25th, to watch a series of local shop owners, mostly women, give a guided tour through their businesses. Sales, demonstrations, local musicians - familiar faces in familiar places, all online! The 10th Annual Who Let The Girls Out will be happening on Facebook! With the help of our loyal sponsors like MTA, Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union, The City of Palmer, Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce, and Silva Insurance, we are adapting and overcoming the current circumstances
to bring you Who Let The Girls Out... Online! Each participating Palmer business will receive a 10-15 minute livestream, on location. Popular local musicians will also be live-streaming mini-concerts from our WLTGO page in-between the business showcases. Though none of us are ‘out’ and about, we can still support locally-owned businesses in downtown Palmer, virtually! Creative ideas and solutions are the life-blood of our event, after all...
