Formal Report Website Analysis Qualities of an Engaging Website.

This is an intensive report about MMM Events website. Our report will go into detail about the specific color scheme, pictures, and navigation that our website will entail. Our goal is to give a factual look along with detail and factual research to help support our ideas. Having a visual website can offer a chance for your company to be seen in a visual way. In our case MMM event website will guide, inspire, and reflect the experience that MMM Events brings.

A company’s website is an essential part in relating who they are as a company. Another essential part is how your viewer would access that information. Your customers may access your website to find a particular contact, item, or in our case visual representation of what our company has to offer.

Whether its business related or casual scrolling your website is a reflection of you and your company.

Navigation • Vertical navigation on the top left side of the page • Loading start page that has our company name MMM Events website will have a clear and concise navigation that Is easy to read and find what you are looking for. Head categories will say: Agency (Mission), Clients, Contact, and Projects (photos) will be displayed on the upper left hand side in a vertical pattern.

According to surveys done by Akamai and Gomez.com, nearly half of web users expect a site to load in 2 seconds or less, and they tend to abandon a site that isn’t loaded within 3 seconds. MMM Events will try our best to keep customers to be entertained even if there is a delay on the website. To avoid the anxiety our customers may feel our page will feature a startup/load page with the company’s name MMM Events. The individual line in the M will move as it is loading. Once the page is loaded then you will click on the featured work as seen below. We want our customer to be entertained when they are waiting for the load page. Studies have shown that when page isn’t loading in a certain amount of seconds then the customer will become upset. Below is an example about how our loading page will look.

Color Scheme • Colors will be fresh and not contrast with fonts • Fonts will be bold A color scheme is another eye catcher when someone visits your website. This is vital because your customers should be able to see and read what is displayed on your website. According to web designer depo poll; “Light designs are preferred by the general web-going audience by a whopping 47%. The main reason is readability. Most people don’t like viewing light text against a dark background on websites because it strains their eyes, making for a much less enjoyable experience”.

The website picture below has a color scheme that makes it hard to read. Your website is selling an idea so it’s really hard to see a product if your costumers cannot read it.

Featured below is a bad color scheme. It is unappealing because it is hard to see what they are saying.

Our website will have minimal colors, but it will also have thick lettering so that the customers can read the text. This website featured below shows minimal color, but also keeps it interesting with the bold text/fonts that they use. The color scheme they chose was effective because of how the colors contrasted together. Featured below is a website that is clean and featured two different fonts as the

other picture, but the lighting of this website makes it a lot clearer to read.

Featured photos • Photos will be of clear quality and in an organized manner • Photos will have caption of name of event and date on the bottom right corner • Photos will be displayed in split screen, half, and full page Since we are an event company our website will feature past and current events on our page. It is very important to us that our work is displayed because that gives us a chance to show others our work and the clearness and organization of how the photos are displayed is just as important that we display our work on our website. This will give our customers a chance to see what we are passionate about, and hopefully it will spark the minds of everyone who visit our website.

The featured photo will be the first photo that is seen on our website. It will have the event name and date on the bottom right side. Other photos that are displayed on the website will be either split screen, full, or quarter length. This section of our website is called photography portfolio and will only feature photos with minimal text.

All photos featured will be either in full screen (first photo) or quarter half (second photo) with the name of the event when you hover on it. As mentioned by 1st web designer “Split screens can preserve a website’s proportions regardless of the device where it is accessed. If you can come up with split screen design correctly, you have a masterpiece.”

Here is an example about a poor photo promotion. The photos are very small and there is a lot of negative space on both left and right sides.

Conclusion MMM Events website will be new, exciting and fresh. It will showcase who we are as a company and overall will focus on navigation, colors, and the photos of our events. We are excited to showcase our website on January 1st and look forward to keeping it up fresh and updated with the new events we are creating.

Letter to Board September 30, 2016 MMM Events 1457 W Washington St. Hollywood CA. 60001 Dear Fellow Board Members, Jan Lee DUI incident It has come to my attention that after the Jennifer Lopez event was completed at September 28, 2015 at 12:07Am CT Jan Lee was pulled over for a DUI. Because of the large amount of press that was at the show there was also a following of paparazzi. We as a company know who Jan Lee is and the professionalism and accomplishments that she brings to our company. I whole heartedly believe Jan Lee wouldn’t do anything intently to jeopardize her position at MMM Events. After careful consideration, I recommend that we keep Jan Lee apart of MMM Events scout.

MMM Events aim to provide a high-level experience to our customers on and off stage. By doing so we provide excitement, professionalism, and assurance that we will meet the needs of our customers no matter how elaborate or small those demands may be. Since our launch in 2013, we have been successfully meeting the needs of the business and our clients.

Since Jan Lee New position as Event Scout.

Jan Lee started as an event assistant in 2013.Since then she has acquired and booked over 1000 events under MMM Events. Those events included: • Major A list performers concerts including but not limited to; Beyoncé, George Strait, Jay Z, Kanye West, Madonna, Lady Gaga and much more.

I acknowledge that Jan Lee decisions that night was of poor judgment; we can not ignore the huge amount of success she’s brought to MMM Events. We also need to consider the fact that Jan Lee has: • Expressed a sincere apology • A master degree in event show production and has been in this industry for 15 years • Prior to this event has never been in any trouble with the law.

• Runs an annual suicide awareness event, which she names after her niece Alana.

• Is a loving mother and wife to her son Carter and husband of 10 years Jayson.

I strongly believe that MMM Events holds our staff to the highest regards. They understand that their actions can affect the success of our company and knows that any situation that is unprofessional during and after events is a terminable offense. Again I believe that Jan Lee accomplishments, character, and job title should not be in effect. We acknowledge her poor decision that night, She has promise to us that this will never happen again.

I look forward to further discussing this matter with the board in the future. I hope we can all agree on the discussion which was made in keeping Jan Lee as our event Scout.

Crisis Management Strategy MMM Events Crisis compared to JetBlue MMM customer following is apparent by our excellent customer service, great production and production team, and lastly great prices. Our goal is to ensure all customers are happy and content with their event. We try our best to avoid mistakes in events or in the company; but unfortunately misfortunes do come up. To avoid a crisis, we want to keep our clients happy and informed no matter what the situation is. We would resort to social media via website to keep everyone informed. We also will make personal phone calls to those who may have been personally affected. To gain immediate attention we will post on Facebook and Twitter that way our customers will get minute to minute feedback instead of an overall statement which would be displayed on our website. One example post will include: “Unfortunately MMM Events stage sets are all being occupied at the moment, with the growth of our company our goal Is to purchase more sets so that it would be at the best convince of our customers. We want to sincerely thank all of our reoccurring clients and artist for working with us through the years and we have a lot of exciting events coming to a city near you” This post will work best on our website. It is professional and gets straight to the point.

In reviewing other companies and their crisis, it is vital that they keep their customers first. A company JetBlue which is one of our clients had a pass issue with their product/service. Their response was as honest and detailed as they could make it. JetBlue went to the press and they even used others forms of communication other than twitter and Facebook. They used television to express their sincerity in having a crisis to their company. My company wants to stray away from negative attention, so being a headline for a news or TV shows with the word “crisis” wouldn’t work for us.

JetBlue had week-long operational breakdown in 2007. They are an airlines company and is mostly based on off customers and loyalty. It is a needs based company, but there are also a lot of airline companies in the world which their clients could go to. JetBlue had a crisis from an ice storm hit the East Coast of the U.S. This caused their company in 1,000 cancelled flights in less than a week.

They responded to the crisis with their CEO David Neeleman writing a public letter of apology to JetBlue’s customers. He also never made excuses on the whether which showed that he’s taking full ownership for his company’s misfortunes. The letter which included the bill of rights had a detailed list which talked about compensation for all affected customers. “This is going to be a different company because of this,” Mr. Neeleman said. “It’s going to be expensive. But what’s more important is to win back people’s confidence.” They also made an immediate response on twitter which stated: “Due to icing, all runways at JFK are currently closed. Check your flight status before leaving for the airport” They also had their PR team responding to peoples tweets about being frustrated. The result of this crisis was that passengers were left angry and fed up because of inconvenience. They did gain back customers because of the CEOS willingness in being as public and straightforward as possible.

Neeleman went on YouTube, the Today Show, Letterman, and Anderson Cooper, not pleading his case, but apologizing for his company's faults.

JetBlue’s form of communication was powerful, but also was all over the place and could hurt them in the long run. They have multiple articles about this incident when there should only be source. MMM Events will have one source of communication (website) and one general tweet updating on the crisis and one final post stating that the crisis is resolved. Unlike JetBlue we will keep it professional and not respond to tweet online instead we will send out letters, emails, and phone calls to those affected.

We have recently acquired the use of your app for a two day maximum in order to showcase our special event the Super Bowl coming up in February. This will be free of charge for your company and we will provide a high level of marking that will bring viewers on your app.

Through this partnership, we can offer (2) complimentary tickets to the Super Bowl for our contest which will stem from your app, an exclusive behind the scene look at the production aspects of the Super Bowl and also the musical guest. Team members responsibilities In addition to MMM Events establish team, we are adding two new team members who would help in our promotion department.

Dan Thomas is the director for our snapchat promotion. He is responsible in overseeing all the snaps we post and ensuring that they withheld integrity with the NFL and all snapchat followers. He will choose specific scenes that are interesting and showcase our production company.

Lisa Marie is the snapchat analyst who films the actual snaps. She is also going to be in charge of the contest and setting up clues. She will be the main promotion person leading up to the actual event. She has her masters in Marketing and currently works for marketing for Burberry. We are excited to have her on or team and promoting for snapchat.

Competition advantages We have a high level experience and have worked with many established artists on world tours and also top promote fashion designers like Chanel and Givenchy. We are the first event company working directly with the NFL and would love to promote this opportunity in as many ways as we can. We also want to showcase more demographic on Snapchat.

Snapchat announced yesterday during a press release luncheon for Adidas, in Times Square, New York, that they have exclusive backstage footage regarding Super Bowl LI. They are partnering with the top event company in the world MMM Events to showcase the design aesthetics and moment to moment reflection on the musical guest of the night Lady Gaga. Snapchat project manager had this to say about the news “This is an exciting time for snapchat, we are so honored that MMM Events selected us to be the main media outlet for this special night” This partnership marks the first time ever that an event company and a social media platform collaborated on a historical night like the Super Bowl. This exclusivity is like non other and will only be shown on snapchat Feb 4-5 2017.

Jessica Goal has been with Snapchat for over 3 years. She started as an assistant intern and now is in charge of product promotion for snapchat. When this opportunity came alone she couldn’t’t believe it.
