LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR ‘’2023 has been the year for laying foundations, implementing procedures and gearing up for huge growth in 2024.’’

Firstly, welcome to the new MGC magazine, I am so proud and honoured to bring this exciting project to our audience and follow in similar footsteps to our US competitors who provide similar publications to their customer base. 2023 for MGC has been the year for laying foundations, implementing procedures and gearing up for huge growth in 2024.

In 2023, the introduction of a new senior team member marked a significant development for our business. Matt Skeggs, with a background in software development and business strategy, has joined the MGC team as a Non-executive Director. He will play a key role in driving growth and revolutionizing processes to enhance the MGC customer experience.

Our team has experienced substantial growth, creating new roles within the business to meet the increasing demand for our grading service.

Additionally, we have invested in government apprenticeship schemes, welcoming our first grading apprentice. This individual works closely with the MGC grading team, pursuing an A-level equivalent qualification in business and grading

LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR “Introducing more automation into MGC so we can unlock the time of our talented experts within the business’’ In August, I took a trip to Shenzhen, China, to visit the factory where we manufacture and design our products. It was an amazing experience to witness firsthand the production process of our products, as well as to observe how our UK and US competitors manufacture their cases. The excitement from our manufacturers was evident, especially considering they hadn't hosted any visitors in over four years due to Covid-19 restrictions.

This trip also enabled us to be more hands-on in the development of new product lines that will be launched at MGC in 2024.

This year, Matt and his team have devoted significant effort to enhancing our in-house software, leading to the launch of our Pop Report, card imagery service, and improved customer experience features. Additionally, we've been collaborating with a market leader in AI robotics to introduce more automation into MGC, aiming to unlock more time for our talented experts within the business.

We're proud to share several milestones and achievements, including reaching 150,000 cards graded, the introduction of ticket and pack grading, and the establishment of MGC grading hubs in Asia, Europe, and the UK, among many other small wins throughout 2023.

Finally, I'd like to express immense gratitude for the overwhelming support my family received during the unexpected loss of my father this year. The patience, love, and support shown were truly incredible and deeply appreciated

Lionel Messi, often hailed as one of the greatest footballers of all time, has enjoyed a career filled with accolades and triumphs.

2022 TOPPS MERLIN 97 NEYMAR JR/L.MESSI - 5/5 DUAL AUTOGRAPH In 2021, Messi made the shocking move to join his former Barcelona teammate Neymar Jr at PSG. This card, featuring autographs from both players in their PSG kit, is an exceptionally rare and unique piece, with only 5 copies produced.

THE GOAT 2018 TOPPS FINEST LIONEL MESSI - 4/5 - RED - DIECUT An out of #/5 Lionel Messi is always a rare and expensive gem, however this one is even more special with it being an MGC 10 and a die cut card. Die cuts are incredibly hard to grade due to the complex cuts and delicate corners, so for this to grade a perfect MGC 10 is a real testament to how well the customer kept this card prior to grading it.

THE GOAT 2023 TOPPS PROJECT 22 LIONEL MESSI 1/1 BY ORLANDO AROCENA The Project 22 cards provided multiple artists with the opportunity to express themselves by creating weekly card designs for some of the greatest male and female football stars in the game. The numbered parallels were then randomly distributed, and this fortunate customer ended up receiving the 1/1 variant.

2003 LIONEL MESSI DEBUT TICKET PORTO VS BARCELONA This is the game that started it all—a friendly match between FC Porto and FC Barcelona that would eventually birth a legend. Despite ending in a 2-0 defeat, this match marked a strong starting point for the up-and-coming Messi. Notably, it was also the first Messi ticket ever graded at MGC.

THE GOAT 2022 PANINI DONRUSS LIONEL MESSI KABOOM! This card was submitted to us by Ferenc from our Hungarian hub. The Hungarian community has a deep admiration for Messi, and this particular gem stood out from our submissions this month. The Kaboom! is a beautiful chase card, and achieving an MGC 10 grade adds the perfect finishing touch to such an iconic card.

2022 SOLOMON ISLANDS GOLD COIN FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR GOLD COIN In 2022, Solomon Islands released a remarkable gold coin embedded with malachite rings and rhodolites. This one-ounce coin showcases The World Cup in the center, the very trophy Lionel Messi lifted in Qatar. At the time of grading, the price of gold stood at £1630 per ounce

Van Gogh x Pokemon The good, The bad, and the ugly

The How On September 28th, Pokemon announced an exciting collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, infusing some of Van Gogh’s most infamous works with imaginative Pokemon elements.

The collaboration resulted in six intricate painting designs, featuring Munchlax and Snorlax inside The Bedroom, Sunflora inside Sunflowers, Wheatfield with Corvinights, Smeargle Inspired by Self-Portrait, Eevee with Sunflower Hat, and Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat. While collaborations like these are not uncommon in the Pokemon TCG world, previous instances of merging famous paintings with Pokemon have proven to hold significant value, such as the 'The Scream' collaboration, with cards still being sold for hundreds of pounds.

Due to the unique nature of this card and its limited availability, it quickly became a highly sought-after item. However, the limited ways to obtain the card brought out a mix of reactions within the community, showcasing both the positive and negative aspects of the pursuit.

The Good

"The most notable outcome of this collaboration is how an entirely new audience from the newer generations can now experience the brilliance of Van Gogh's artwork, all thanks to the massive reach of Pokemon.

The museum provides a range of courses tailored to a younger audience, such as the Pokemon Adventure. This initiative encourages participants to delve into the stories behind the pieces, with the opportunity to redeem for a prize—the Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat card. Additionally, the museum offered a 'How To Draw Pikachu' tutorial in their restaurant, providing fans with the chance to learn how to draw the beloved Pokemon."

The collaboration also presented an extensive range of merchandise featuring the unique artworks. This collection included tote bags, plushies, card sleeves, and various other options, catering to every type of fan. Notably, for online purchases, customers were eligible to receive a free Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat card, regardless of their order total.

The Bad

However, the excitement and hype surrounding this collaboration appeared to surpass what Pokemon had initially anticipated. Within minutes of the exclusive merchandise being launched in the US, every item had sold out. An even more significant issue emerged as people managed to manipulate the US Pokemon Centre link, leading to the depletion of the UK stock before the official launch announcement.

This incident understandably upset many fans who were eager to acquire the card, as well as those interested in picking up fun new merchandise. The outrage reached Pokemon, with fans expressing their dissatisfaction over how the situation was handled and the company's prolonged silence.

Eventually, Pokemon released a statement stating that they would reprint the card, making it available for purchase with any Pokemon TCG order over £30. While this solution brought some happiness to certain individuals, others perceived it as Pokemon seizing the opportunity to clear old and potentially unwanted stock.

The Ugly

When the doors swung open to the Van Gogh Museum on September 28th, they didn't anticipate hundreds of people flooding in, primarily to raid the Pokemon merchandise. In the first week of opening, many scalpers headed to the museum, resulting in a tarnished reputation for the Pokemon community in the media.

What should have been a wholesome event turned into chaos. Social media videos depicted scenes of greed, and fights broke out at the museum as people desperately tried to secure stock for resale on the secondary market.

Due to the entire ordeal, the Van Gogh Museum decided it was in their best interest to cease promoting the card altogether as of early October.

The card has experienced a significant plummet in its monetary value. In its early days, the card was fetching around £250, but it's now possible to acquire one for £80. This decline can be attributed in part to the card's reprinting after the initial online sale went poorly, coupled with a diminished demand resulting from disappointment surrounding the entire situation. Many collectors have also distanced themselves from the card due to the stigma attached to it.

Despite these challenges, the card itself features an incredibly striking design that showcases the talents of Van Gogh and the anticipation associated with a unique card. Although the story behind this card wasn't the smoothest, it undoubtedly adds a beautiful standout piece to any collection.

OLLIE DEVINE QUICK FIRE QUESTIONS We took the opportunity to interview one of our Pokemon graders, asking him questions about his passion for collecting cards and gaining insights into what considerations are important when grading.

Q1. DO YOU PREFER JAPANESE OR ENGLISH POKEMON CARDS?

Q2. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CARD DESIGN?

Q3. IS THERE ANY OTHER CARDS YOU COLLECT?

A1: I'm all about Japanese Pokémon cards – they bring a whole new level of quality. The precision in cutting and printing is top-notch, earning them consistently higher grades. The vibrant images, clean edges, and exclusive releases make them stand out.

A2: I absolutely adore the Latias and Latios Full Art Ultra Rare from Sun and Moon: Team Up. It is an absolutely stunning card which shows how beautiful the art of Pokemon can be, it’s definitely one of my favourite cards in my own personal collection.

A3: I've recently started collecting Disney Lorcana, drawn in by my deep love for all things Disney. The upcoming expansion has me eagerly anticipating more. I'm Excited to see what the new world of lorcana has installed for us and also learn how to play the game aswell.

POKEMON GRADER

Q4. WHAT'S THE MOST COMMON ISSUE THAT CAN AFFECT A CARD?

Q6. WHAT ARE COMMON MISTAKES COLLECTORS MAKE BEFORE GRADING?

A4: Centering is crucial; it can either make or break a card. Besides that, the primary reason we often see cards receiving lower grades is due to small nicks on the corners or edges. Many times, these imperfections are there even before a card is pulled, making those higher grades even more satisfying

A5: When I receive an order on my desk, it goes through a 5 stage authentication check. If the card is authentic, we then measure the centering using our scanner system and start grading the four main criteria's under magnification. The scores are then inputed into our software and a final grade is calculated.

A6: Not using protection...! To protect your trading cards, always sleeve them and then use top loaders or semi-rigid holders. we see so many horror stories where cards have been damaged in old binders or sent in the post without any protection.

Q7. DO YOU RECIEVE MANY Q8. WHAT' TYPE OF ALTERED CARDS? EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE WHEN GRADING? A7: Yes, we have a very clear policy that we do not grade altered, replica, and unlicensed cards. There are certain techniques we use to figure out if a card has been altered using our scanners which allow us to look at different layers of the card and identify if a card has had any changes made to it to try to achieve a higher grade. The most common we see is adding color to damaged areas of the card to try and disguise it.

A8: When grading we magnification, high def scanners, measuring tools, light and other techniques in our armoury. We also have a sophisticated software system in place now which allows us match cards together vs previously graded cards. This can highlight any differences between the two.

Q9. DO OLDER OR RARER CARDS GET GRADED ANY DIFFERENTLY? A9: We have a different scale for vintage and modern cards however the rarity or value of the card does not affect the grading, judgement or treatment of the card. Each card is solely based on the condition. With some US companies they add upcharges which increase if the card is graded higher/value added. We strongly believe this is not fair and could potentially lead to manipulation of the grade in order to charge the customer more.

Q10. DO YOU GRADE ERROR Q11. WHAT STEPS DO YOU CARDS? TAKE TO AUTHENTICATE A SIGNED POKEMON CARD?

Q12. ARE THERE ANY DIFFERENCES WHEN GRADING CARDS VS PACKS?

A10: Yes, we do. we see quite alot of error cards come through. My favourite to grade is miscuts and hugely off centre cards as every one is so different and crazy each time.

A12: Packs and cards are a lot more similar than you might think when it comes to grading. We look at the similar criteria with packs however our main focus is making sure the pack hasn't been resealed. One of the new features coming to pack grading is the ability to add a weight grade to the pack so you can show on the label whether the pack is heavy or light.

That being said my favourite of all time error card is my first, which was the Dark Arbok from Rocket which has a print error which says it was made in the year 1999-23000!

A11: When it comes to signed Pokémon cards, we ask for extensive proof or pre authentication. We have built relationships with voice actors which allows to contact them directly to authenticate their own signature. we also have a huge database of examples which allow us to match multiple examples together to confirm if the autograph is genuine.

KABOOM SPORTS & TCG SHOP OPEN NOW! The UK now boasts its own sports and TCG haven with the opening of Kaboom in London. Situated in Finsbury Park, Kaboom is rapidly establishing itself as the hub of card collecting in the UK. The shop offers a diverse range of sports, TCG, Pop Figures, signed memorabilia, and grading services, providing enthusiasts a place to drop off their cards.

During our inaugural visit to Kaboom, the experience truly echoed that of a classic card shop—sizeable glass display cases housing singles and slabs, and shelves brimming with a variety of hobby boxes and packs from both sports and TCG. Kaboom recently hosted its first trade night, allowing attendees to buy, sell, and trade their favourite cards a resounding success that promises more such events in the future.

The shop gained viral attention in the hobby when Fanatics & Topps CEO Michael Ruben visited to open packs and create content with the Kaboom team. This moment resonated widely in the hobby community, especially in the UK, underscoring the growth and promising future of the UK card-collecting scene

A1: Kaboom was opened up in order to give the UK collectors the same opportunities that the US has. We took a big risk as it was the first of its kind!

Q2: What’s the biggest card you’ve had come through the shop?

A2: We’ve seen alot of big ones, 1st ed Charizard's, Messi Auto’s etc but probably the biggest was the 1/1 David Beckham we pulled on stream.

Q3: Who’s the biggest name in the hobby that you’ve had visit your store?

A2: Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin is the most well known, but we’ve had customers visit us from all over the world including China, Qatar and the USA.

Q4: What's the biggest card in your own collection?

Q4: I have a Kylian mbappe auto from Topps chrome PSG /20. It was pulled in the monster Halloween break by @yorkshirecollecter

Q5: What’s the best thing about Q1: How do you engage owning a card shop?with the trading card community to build your reputation?

A5: Seeing happiness instore or on stream everyday! The joy of watching people pull a chase card is great fun and very rewarding.

LOST OR FOUND Zion Williamson's rookie cards burst onto the scene in 2019, sparking considerable excitement. The buzz around his impending NBA debut and the potential impact on the league fueled the hype and subsequent value of these cards. However, despite his impact falling short of expectations due to injuries, this particular card in question still commands a noteworthy price, ranging from £2000 to £3000."

The Kaboom insert has been a highly sought after card in the sports card community. These cards are known for their unique and eye-catching designs, and they often feature some of the top current and upcoming stars.

This Zion gold Kaboom, serialized 2/10, was initially pulled by 2Bros on Dave & Adam’s platform during Panini’s Crown Royale release day on May 17, 2023.

Unfortunately, the buyer in the UK never received the card as it got lost in the post. Five months later, the card made its way to the MGC grading lab through our gold grading service. In the process of our research on the card, one of our graders uncovered that it had been lost, and the owner had been actively searching for it. Surprisingly, the person who sent it in worked in waste collection and explained that they found it in a house clearance.

This situation thrust us into a complex scenario involving multiple parties: Dave & Adams, our customer, The US Sheriffs department, British Lawyers and D&A’s UK’s customer. Fortunately, we managed to bring all the parties together, reaching a resolution where everyone involved was satisfied with the correct outcome and the card being returned to its rightful original owner who had lost the card 6 months ago after winning it in a break.

Sidemen are releasing their second edition of their trading cards ‘Sidecards’ using Topps Chrome technology for their 10th anniversary Value box - £30 Sidemen had their first go at creating trading cards back in 2022, with Sidecards making their official debut in August. Partnered with Topps, the set released 61 cards with some featuring parallels out of 250, 150, 49, 20, 15, 10, and 5 down to 1. As well as featuring parallel variants, there were also 7000 hand-signed autograph cards.

Following the success of the initial launch, the Sidemen are back again but this time bigger, better, and in chrome. With 200 new base cards to collect, following a similar 7 levels of parallels to add variety. This set also features 20,000+ hand-signed signatures from the group, as well as relic cards which feature patches from some of the group’s most popular videos.

The first set of Sidecards also featured a large number of prizes to be won, and this set is no different - from signed charity match shirts to a trip to Dubai, there is a lot up for grabs on special cards in this set.

As well as the prizes, an exclusive 1/1 Golden Crest is hidden in the packs, similar to the Golden Ticket from the first series.

Topps is offering 3 different boxes to buy for Sidecards, each coming with their own exclusives. For example, the value box is the only box that you will be able to find Match Attax cards or the opportunity to re-live a Sidemen holiday. WHO’S ON THE COME UP? VICTOR WEMBANYAMA Recently signing his first card for Topps Chrome and inscribing ‘My 1st signed card’ on it, Wembanyama has been making waves throughout the hobby. The French player has made his mark playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA, and his cards tend to sell for hundreds when in good condition.

ALEJANDRO GARNACHO Alejandro Garnacho is the one to watch in the footballing world, with some even claiming him to be the next Ronaldo. The young Argentine currently plays for Manchester United, making 56 total appearances with 8 goals. Garnacho cards dropped slightly but showed how quickly things can change with his recent bicycle kick goal vs Everton.

C.J. STROUD Coleridge Bernard ‘C.J.’ Stroud IV is currently the quarterback for the Houston Texans. The 22 year old is making a name for himself in the NFL, with a 63.7% completion rate with passes and a total of 19 touchdowns in the 2023 regular season, it is clear he will be one to watch.

GUNNAR HENDERSON

Recently winning American League Rookie of the Year honors, it is clear that Henderson knows what he is doing. The third baseman and shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles has hit 32 home runs since his MLB debut in 2022, and has since won the Silver Slugger award in 2023. A Henderson card will set you back a few hundred, however the rarer cards go for thousands.

LOGAN SARGEANT Logan Sargeant is the first American in the F1 scene since 2015, and he is already looking rather promising.

Joining alongside Oscar Piastri and Nyck De Vries and debuting in Bahrain, Sargeant come out on top as he tied with Norris’ time. As of right now, Sargeant parallels from Turbo Attax are going for hundreds, so the future looks bright for official Topps card releases.

Topps Star Wars Galaxy has been around since 1993, before stopping at Series 8 in 2018. Because of this, when Topps revealed they will be bringing back this beloved set but in chrome, the hype was there. The 2021 debut of this set retailed for £85, however a sealed box will now set you back around £450. Topps have seen this sudden demand and have since released a new series of Topps Chrome Star Wars Galaxy each year, with the most recent 2023 retailing at £205 a box.

“When MGC contacted me to offer me the opportunity to submit my favourite card that had been graded I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately I realised it’s an impossible task to pick a favourite card as I had so many that I love but I decided to submit “The Finest On Naboo” from 2021 Topps Chrome Galaxy.

The artwork by Jerry Vanderstelt is absolutely fantastic and in the Mojo variation the colours pop so beautifully against the black background - it truly is a magnificent card. Natalie Portman playing Padme Amidala in that black dress - Natalie is a beautiful woman and Jerry Vanderstelt did an awesome job capturing her beauty as well as managing to insert Darth Vader.

This card is the very first card I brought from any of the Topps Chrome Galaxy Sets, when I first saw this card I instantly fell in love with it and the 2021 set in general.

This card was my first MGC submission too, and graded an MGC 10 - awesome. I hope you enjoy the card as much as I do.”

James Bond has been around since 1962 and has always been a hit, so it's inevitable that it would turn into a trading card set.

The brand to commoditize most on its success was Rittenhouse, who created 24 sets in its run from 2002 until 2017. These sets were huge among collectors as they featured signed cards from big actors such as Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. However, since 2019 Upper Deck has had the control of the market as they debuted their first set with their second set due to release late 2023.

WITH OVER 135 CARDS GRADED WITH US, AARON CATTERMER IS ONE OF, IF NOT THE BIGGEST 007 COLLECTOR IN THE UK. WE ASKED HIM WHY 007?

“ I got into collecting Bond since a buddy of mine ran The Cinema Store in Nottingham about 20 years ago.

He stocked the Rittenhouse 40th Anniversary set, I’d always been a fan of the franchise so I started picking up cards from him. This lead to me buying display boxes & cases of future releases.

In terms of my most treasured card, it’s got to be my Roger Moore full bleed autograph card. It features a great Black & White image of him from LALD with a crisp Blue signature. I pulled it from a sealed case back in the day, it was also my very first MGC 10!

I collect key characters, actors/actresses with significant careers and characters from my favourite Bond movies.

I’m not chasing every card out there at the moment… but in the future who knows?! There’s one card I dream of, which is a Rittenhouse Sean Connery cut autograph card out there I would love, but sadly at $15k it’s a bit out of reach.”

A more recent Sci-Fi frenzy has been over the Marvel Cinematic franchise, even though a lot of the cards we receive are based on the comics. By no surprise, the most submitted superhero is the webslinging Spider-Man, who has been a staple of Marvel culture since 1962.We have graded gems such a the 1994 Marvel Masterpieces Venom Limited Edition Holofoil, which was part of a special set featuring only 30 cards for just 10 characters, each receiving a bronze, silver and gold edition.

“I have been a fan of Marvel since the I first saw Iron Man in theatres. Since then, I have been hooked and been collecting anything Marvel, including the cards.

Iron Man is definitely my favourite, and my crown jewel in my collection is my Rittenhouse Robert Downey Jr autograph card. The picture is iconic, and having some authentic signed merchandise from the man himself is insane to me.

I mostly collect Upper Deck at the moment, as they have a real hold on the market. I was lucky enough to receive a few autographs from the Legends Never Die set which was really special to me as Endgame and Infinity War have an important spot in my heart.

I guess there isn’t any monster cards that I am after myself, however I know of another Rittenhouse signed Tony Stark card that would look nice in the collection.”

The first Harry Potter set to release was dubbed by fans as the 'Harry Potter Base Set' and was released in 2001 by Wizards Of The Coast, which coincides with the release of the first film. However, this set and the subsequent 4 expansions released after were all based on the books, and it wouldn't be until Panini and Artbox stepped in to create their own sets that we would see some film adaptations in card form. Panini had more of a focus on stickers, whereas Artbox created a set edition for each film.

OUR CUSTOMER FREYA MCKENNA HAS RACKED UP QUITE THE H.P. COLLECTION, LETS SEE WHAT SHE HAS TO SAY ABOUT THE FRANCHISE.

“Much like many children of my generation, Harry Potter was something I grew up with. I first heard of the trading cards when Artbox announced their set in 2004, and since I was already into collecting other cards like Pokemon I thought I would give it a try.

I think my favourite card I have collected would probably have to be the patch card I pulled from the 2007 Artbox collection. It was a piece of Dolores Curtains from her office, which I found to be quite silly but also quite fascinating as she is one of my favourite characters of the franchise.

If I could have any card in the world right now, I would personally choose to have the Daniel Radcliffe autograph card from the 2016 set, as he is the name of the series himself. I am hopeful of new sets coming out in the future, especially since we have had an announcement of a new adaptation being made.”

Doctor Who, first aired in 1963, has maintained a consistent and dedicated viewership throughout the years. With 14 different Doctors across as many seasons, it's evident that the show holds a special place in the hearts of the British public. As of the current writing, David Tennant once again graces the role of the Doctor, a clear fan favorite among the 14 incarnations. Although the first trading card set, released in 1996 by MMG, received a lukewarm reception, Rittenhouse and Topps have successfully produced quality sets for the franchise over the past decade, providing ample options for enthusiasts.

DOCTOR WHO HAS RECENTLY PARTNERED UP WITH MAGIC THE GATHERING, CREATING SOME LIMITED EDITION CARDS.

Magic the Gathering and Doctor Who have joined forces to create an impressive collaboration featuring a staggering 1178 cards. The set includes a card for each of the Doctors, up until the thirteenth portrayed by Jodie Whittaker. The collection spans a diverse array of characters, from iconic villains like the Dalek and Cybermen to beloved sidekicks such as Sarah Jane and K-9. Notably, each Doctor in the set has multiple variations, showcasing unique looks and abilities. As a testament to the exclusivity, we were fortunate enough to receive a TARDIS Showcase foil edition of the Eleventh Doctor, submitted by one of our lucky customers. Each Doctor in the set is numbered #/500 and presented with their distinctive appearance. With four decks released by Wizards Of The Coast, there's an abundance of Doctor Who content for collectors to enjoy.

Family Guy is a show that has existed since 1999, and still is beloved by many to this day. The first trading card set was released in 2005 by Inkworks, and featured autographed cards from Seth McFarlane, Alex Borstein, Erik Estrada, Mike Henry, Lori Alan and Wally Wingert for their respective characters. Inkbox has created 3 sets of the cards, including a Star Wars inspired edition in 2008, and popular company Leaf created a set in 2011.

The beloved yellow family first aired in 1990 and has had so many variations of it released since, from video games to comics to trading cards. The first set released alongside the show in 1990 by Topps, featuring 88 cards and 22 stickers all in the original style of the show. Wizards of the Coast also joined in on the Simpsons craze, albeit 13 years later with their initial debut in 2003, which seems to be the most popular. There are companies such as Inkworks who have also made sets such as the 10th Anniversary set released in 2000, but with such a massive series, there are so many options to choose from.

An iconic card and one of the biggest sales of its kind!"

"We've had a huge amount of cards sell via Catawiki this quarter. One that stands out for me is the 1997 hoops MICHAEL JORDAN- High Voltage/500.

This card ended at an amazing €4201."

" We’ve been running a number of auctions with top class inventory from selling partners including Sports Cards Direct, Football Cards Direct and others. One great card was a Garnacho PSA 10 from STCUK which sold for over £1,000 on the day he scored the wonder goal against Everton. Timing is everything!

My favourite card that I helped to sell was the 1986 MJ signed Fleer rookie card. That was back in my Christie’s days and it will always have a special place in my memory.
