Patching is widely known as the process of filling potholes and excavated areas in asphalt pavement. Quick pothole repair aid to control the deterioration and expensive repair of potholes. If asphalt patching doesn’t perform time to time, it may lead to water sub-grade that ultimately results to serious pavement failures. Deep patch or full depth patch is work as permanent repair whereas “throw and go or thin surface patch is commonly as temporary pothole repair. Material for patching contain asphalt emulsion mixes, hot mix asphalt, proprietary patching mixes and stockpile patching mixes as well. All these combined together with blends of modified and aggregate binders. Despite of its thickness, full depth patching procedure helps in removing the entire pavement over the patching area.
