The former Disney star was the surprise winner for the gong at the Microsoft Theater, but was emotional as she spoke to the audience and addressed her fans, revealed that she had been “completely broken inside” despite appearing to have it all. Selena claimed that the pressure of trying to maintain her lifestyle and keep everyone happy, it was the detriment to herself. “In 2014, this stage was actually the first time that I was authentically 100% honest with all of you, I think it's safe to say, for most of my life, whether I liked it or not, and I had to stop because I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside and I kept it all together and that's why I will never let you down,” the brunette beauty said. “But I kept it too much together where I let myself down. I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram, I want to see what's in here. I'm not trying to get validation, nor do I need it anymore,” before thanking her family, friends and 'loyal' fans.
