DESIGN OF A VACATION HOUSE CONNECTING SPACE WITH NATURE
Project Site: Imaginary
Site Area: 9500 sft
Studio III
The design of the Vacation House, situated in a magnificent natural setting, will take full advantage of the north-facing orientation, allowing for panoramic views of the placid body of water from various areas of the home. The design concept prioritizes seamless integration between interior and outdoor spaces, nurturing a connection to nature and maximizing the inhabitants’ enjoyment of the breathtaking surroundings.
The imaginary client of this project is a musician. The design of the Musician’s Vacation House project is a captivating exploration of form and function, drawing inspiration from the octaves of music. This project aims to create a unique retreat that not only embraces the serene beauty of the waterbody to the north of the site but also provides an ideal environment for a musician to find inspiration and creative solace.
Concept:
The architectural design revolves around an octagonal form, symbolizing the musical concept of octaves. This distinctive shape not only adds visual interest but also serves as a guiding principle for the layout and organization of the various spaces within the house. The octagonal configuration maximizes the potential to position key functional areas to face the waterbody, ensuring that the musician can enjoy breathtaking views. while

EMBRACING MINIMALISM INTERIOR OF PORCHEX OFFICE
The overarching design concept for the construction farm’s interior is based on a modern and minimalist approach. By employing a predominantly white color palette for the walls and ceilings, the design aims to create a clean and spacious atmosphere that exudes a sense of calm and tranquility. Adjacent to the entrance, a Mondrian-inspired frame becomes the focal point of the elevation. To enhance the spatial experience, straight-line compositions of strip lights have been incorporated into the ceiling. Seating arrangements within the farm play a pivotal role in providing comfort and promoting collaboration. Colorful sofas serve as focal points within the space, inviting individuals to gather, discuss, and exchange ideas. White oak for the furnishings adds warmth and richness to the overall composition.
