NEXT is a startup beauty brand creaed by a Kore an woman. The brand focuses on producs that are vegan and inclusive. My inspiration comes from the owner’s Korean background and feaures symbolism, color reference and hierachial order. The color red, inspired by the Korean flag, means positivity. White represents peace and purity. Biophilic references are made throughout the space to seamlessly relate to the brand’s sustainable focus.

7TH LEVEL RECEPTION

The central, mirrored monumental staircases provide symmetry and balance. The stairs encompass two crucial zones: the reception on the 7th floor and the work cafe on the 8th floor. I created a focal point with my mirrored logo behind the reception desk. Custom tile with the "X" design is featured on the reception desk and upstairs in the work cafe.

SPACE PLANNING AND LOGO SKETCHING

The central, mirored monumental staircases provide symmetry and balance crucial zones: the reception on the 7h floor and the work cafe on the 8th floor. I created a focal point with the mirrored logo. This material choice translates to visitors and employees a sense of belonging. The logo, displayed in custom tile on the reception desk, is inspired by a Korean motif. Traditional cultural elements are integrated with a cutting edge New York ambiance.
