Design Brief:

To design a new theme based restaurant/Dhaba/café/food outlet/Highway resort located on a highway. The Emphasis of the exercise should be on understating various structural systems and the irrelation to the built environment. The Design should be innovative in its form, structure with cooking, delivering/serving and eating as their prime activity.

The highway restaurant designed is:

Functionally efficient and logically organized in accommodating a variety of needs and users

Formulation of concept following the rule for space allotment

Pedestrian oriented, safe, use - friendly, and easily accessible to the speciallyabled

Integration of respective form and function

Interior volumes and articulation of space through different materials to make it aesthetically pleasing

Following anthropometry and various furniture layouts for seamless circulation

DESIGN : DESIGN INTENTIONS :

To design a residential apartment complex of G+4 or G+5

An apartment or flat is a self - contained housing unit occupies only part of a building,generally on a single story

To design a apartment according to the climatic conditions of a given site For good ventilation more open spaces are needed which is provided by large windows and balconies. (Mostly in North - East direction)

CONCEPT:

The main concept is to design with contemporary theme including modern architecture.

The design concept revolves around the translation of a form pattern into the building according to atmosphere movement and climatic conditions.. so it includes geometric shapes, and movement of form into function
