Hi friends! I’ve been toying around with the idea of doing look books for the store for some time now, and have finally pulled the trigger! The purpose of these look books, which I hope to publish every 4-6 weeks, is to give you all a sneak peek of what styles are coming to Magnolia Moon before they hit the shop floor or launch on the website, better helping you “plan your buys.” While these won’t include all styles coming to MM, it will highlight our favorite pieces and hopefully provide you all with a little #outfitinspo each season. Mixed in you’ll find other fun segments, like recipes, what we ’ re reading, favorite TV shows, local and in-store events, and more! Because this is the first issue, and I welcomed home a new puppy, Rex, the day after this photo shoot, the pieces in this look book have already been released in-store (if you ’ ve had a puppy, you know how time-consuming and chaotic that phase can be). Going forward, look books will launch just prior to styles being for sale, giving you the best chance to snag your size and the styles you want first! I hope you enjoy and find value in this issue! I’ve sure had a great time working on it!

This year we are focusing more and more on sourcing clothing made from natural fibers like cotton, linen, silk, wool, and bamboo. Not only are natural fibers better for the environment than synthetics, but they are more breathable, hold their shape better, and last for years rather than for a season or two. Many of the styles in this look book are made fully or partially from natural fibers. Pimiento Cheese
Most everyone in the South has their favorite version of Pimiento Cheese, usually what grandma made, but they all have the same basic base that can be added to For me, though, classic Pimiento Cheese is the way to go! At your next tailgate or game watching party, make into sandwiches, use as a dip with veggies, or spread this southern staple onto buttery crackers!
8 ounces extra-sharp cheddar cheese
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 ounce jar chopped pimientos, drained
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper salt to taste
Grate cheese by hand (don’t buy pre-shredded cheese)!
In a large bowl, add cream cheese, mayo, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Mix together by hand. Add in grated cheese and pimientos. Blend together utnil well mixed. Add salt as needed.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
