Supporting Student Well-Being Beyond the Classroom
At the Twin Falls School District, we believe in fostering a supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. As part of our commitment to student well-being, we've partnered with BPA Health to offer the K-12 School Well-Being Program. This program is designed to provide comprehensive support to students from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as their immediate families.

How School Well-Being Program Works
Access to your free and confidential counseling is easy. Here's how it works:
1. To get started, simply call, text, or chat with your Service Navigator or submit an online request to BPAHealth.com
2. After you speak to a service navigator or your request has been submitted, you'll get personalized recommendations for therapists and wellbeing resources.
3. Simply, select your therapist and make an appointment.
4. Your Service Navigator will follow up with you to ensure you're getting exactly what you need.

Each month our 23 Idaho State & Federal elected can share information here. Articles begins here and continue on the website MagicValleyNews.org
US Senator Michael Crapo: HEALTH CARE PRIORITIES. My position as Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee gives Idahoans a strong voice in shaping our nation’s health care programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, and I am committed to ensuring Idahoans have access to effective, high-quality, affordable health care. A large part of that effort includes continuing the bipartisan work of previous Congresses on issues like expanding access in rural communities, bringing much-needed transparency to prescription drug prices and ensuring long-term payment stability for care providers. More than a quarter of Idahoans call our vibrant rural communities home. Yet, for far too many, living in these remote areas creates barriers to accessible, reliable, high-quality health care. The Committee will… more @ https://wp.me/pecT8b-118
Idaho Governor Brad Little: President Trump's 'Keeping Men out of Women's Sports' Executive Order Signing. This week, I was honored to join President Donald Trump at the White House for the signing of his Executive Order, "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports." Within weeks of taking office, President Trump is showing his commitment to returning common sense and sanity back to the foundation of decisions being made by the federal government. I am proud that Idaho was the first state to stand up and prohibit biological males from competing in women's sports. Since then, we have not let up in our defense of female athletes. Idaho Representative Barbara Ehardt of Idaho Falls has courageously kept this important issue at the forefront and helped start a movement advocating for female athletes across the nation… more @ https://wp.me/pecT8b-11c

Idaho Lt Governor Scott Bedke: The Idaho Playbook: A Beacon in the West. Idaho is known for our common sense, conservative policies that cut government red tape and protect American values. The Trump Administration is now taking note –and taking a page right out of our playbook. Protecting Women’s Sports. Idaho was the first state in the nation to pass a law to ensure boys cannot compete in girls’ sports. This policy has gained national traction as the Trump Administration takes steps to uphold fairness and protect opportunities for female athletes with the signing of the Executive Order, “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports”. This new executive action gives women across the country the same protection that athletes in Idaho have earned. I was proud to support this policy as Speaker when it was in the Idaho House of Reps, and I am even prouder now that our female athletes' hard work is being rightfully recognized. https://wp.me/pecT8b-11t (Read TRUMP’S EO Online)

Supt of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield: Maintaining Our Focus as Educators Amid Change. Leaders have the responsibility – and the opportunity – to make decisions. In fact, it’s an essential function of the role. In my experience, most decisions in leadership roles aren’t easy, but some are easier than others. “Back in the day,” as a newly elected school board member for the Cassia County School District, I was making regular decisions on things that I had limited to no experience in. Leaders are always in the process of learning and adapting to change and the coming weeks will be no different. Ongoing discussions around the federal role in education will require us to make decisions in real time, learning and understanding things we don’t have experience in yet. An example is the talk around dissolving the U.S. Department of Education and how it will impact Idaho education. The short answer is: We’re going to be okay. We don’t have many specifics now… more@ https://wp.me/
Idaho Governor Brad Little: Idaho reinforces Trump’s immigration policies with new executive order. Governor Brad Little and House and Senate leadership signaled the State of Idaho’s strong support for President Donald Trump’s immigration policies today as Governor Little signed Executive Order 2025-03, the Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Act. Governor Little said the federal government was not a strong partner for the State of Idaho over the past four years under the Biden-Harris Administration. “The State of Idaho is already seeing a huge shift in the level of cooperation from the federal government since President Trump took office one month ago. My executive order reinforces the President’s executive actions that are making our country safer,” Governor Little added. Executive Order 2025-03 can be found at this link: https://gov.idaho.gov/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/eo-2025-03.pdf more @ https://wp.me/pecT8b-11J

D24B Rep Steve Miller: For Week 6 ending Feb 14, 2025. H231 Grocery Tax Credit was passed 61-6-3. It increased the tax credit from $120 per family member and $140 for over 65 to $155 for all. H98 prohibits public officials from allowing school district funds, personnel, and other resources to be used in support of teachers’ unions. COMING: H221 prohibits foreign adversaries from purchasing land near military bases or from purchasing agricultural land, forestland, water rights, mining claims, or mineral rights. There are now 215 House bills, 12 House Concurrent Resolutions, 3 House Joint Resolutions, 7 House Resolutions, 111 Senate bills, 9 Senate Concurrent Resolutions, 1 Senate Joint Memorial, 1 Senate Joint Memorial and 6 Senate Resolutions at this time. That is 365 bills, resolutions and memorials! And more to come! more @ https://wp.me/pecT8b-11M Legislative Bill List: https://legislature.idaho.gov/sessioninfo/2025/legislation/minidata/ Budget Information: https://legislature.idaho.gov/lso/bpa/budgetinformation/ Fiscal Dashboards: https://legislature.idaho.gov/fiscal-dashboards/

Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador: DOGE has Uncovered Waste, Inefficiency & Corruption at unprecedented levels and in every agency examined so far... Even billions of taxpayer dollars are being carelessly thrown at projects around the globe without consideration for our national security, priorities, or strategic interests… Unsurprisingly, the oversight bureaucracies previously set up to find fraud appear to be disinterested, at best, and complicit, at worst. Having spent four terms in Congress representing Idaho, I can say confidently there are exactly 537 elected people in your entire federal government: 435 Congressmen, 100 Senators, the Vice-President, and the President. That’s it! Everyone else is an unelected bureaucrat… As your Attorney General, my office is monitoring the situation closely… more @ https://wp.me/pecT8b-11U
