Did you know that the latest census, that occurs every 10 years, has changed our legislative district from 26 to 24. This new district includes Gooding, Camas and rural Twin Falls Counties. Because of the increase in population, the districts have grown larger in the number of residents and rural Twin Falls is 70% of district 24’s population. Last year Gooding County was 33% of district 26. This year that has fallen to 28% of the new district 24. The primaries for Democrat and Republican registered voters will be May 17. Independents and Unaffiliated voters will not be able to vote until the November 8 General Election. Currently unaffiliated voters can change their affiliation up to and including election day but if a piece of legislation that is currently being considered is passed, affiliation changes will have to be made by March 11. If you have moved even across the street since the last election, you must reregister 25 days or more from the election date. You can go to the Secretary of State’s web site or your County Clerk’s office to reregister. Your vote is your voice.

I can't forget about our Class A Destination Restaurants: Snake River Grill, open Wed-Sun 7a-9p

Hagerman is the best little town in Idaho. The great fishing and soaking in the best hot water in the state. Don't forget about the duck and goose hunting and water sports on our three large reservoirs: Upper Salmon dam, lower Salmon dam and the Bliss dam reservoir. There are many other attributes such as bird watching and walking on our new walk and bike path. This path connects Hagerman's beautiful Coltharp city park to the new facilities at Thousand Springs State Park and Hagerman Fossil Bed National Monument north of Hagerman.

March has arrived! We are so blessed to live in Hagerman.

Now spring is coming and I know it's only going to get better.

Animal Control: There have been a lot of people allowing their dogs go to the bathroom in the park and not cleaning it up. Please! Clean up after your pet! The park is to be enjoyed by

One of the things the city council is looking at right now is clean up days. I'll let you know when they have decided on a day.

There are a lot of people in town getting these little bully barns/ storage sheds. Remember if you get 200 square feet or more bully Barn/ storage shed you have to have a building permit. If you have 199 square feet you don't have to get a building permit, but you still have to abide by all city codes and setbacks. Please ask first.

The local businesses have done an amazing job on their businesses. Hagerman is looking beautiful right now, and I have received many compliments and want to pass them down to you. Thank you for all of your hard work t is appreciated.

everyone. I don't want my kids and I don't want your kids running and having to play in dog crap! Please, there are clean up bags provided in the park for you to use.
