Welcome to our 2025 autumn list, from the team at Magic Cat.
It’s five years since our very first book, Slow Down, was published, and what a journey it has been. From a launch list of five books and a team of five staff members, we’ve come a long way –all thanks to our team at Abrams and you, the fantastic booksellers who put our books in the hands of readers.
We now have a remarkable frontlist of more than 50 new titles planned for 2025, and our team has grown to over 28 members. Last year, we were thrilled to be crowned Children’s Publisher and Independent Publisher of the Year at the IPAs, as well as Small Press of the Year at the Bookseller Nibbies. But our story is just getting started. . .
So, dive into our catalogue for some exciting new series launches in autumn 2025. Foster your youngest cooks with the world’s best loved chef, Jamie Oliver, in his first learn-to-cook series for children. Make kitchen science magic with The Wizard’s Guide to Magical Experiments from bestselling author AJ Wood, creator of the million-copy bestselling Ology books. And from two of the UK’s most celebrated book creators, Robert Macfarlane and Luke Adam Hawker, comes the breathtaking first installment of a trilogy designed to ignite wonder in readers of all ages.
From food to kitchen science to fireflies, there’s something for every book lover to discover!
