FME EXTENSIONS PRODUCT TABS

INTENDED AUDIENCE The content of this document is designed to facilitate the users -managers, supervisors, and others of Magento 2 Product Tabs Extension. A step by step instruction has been added to this document to help users to install the extension on Magento 2.

This extension will only work on Magento 2. As a safe practice always backup your files and database before installing any extension on Magento. If you are looking for someone to install the extension we can do it for you as well. Just go to the following link and let support know the order id to expedite the installation process.

USER GUIDE After installation of the extension, make sure the setup is upgraded and staticcontents are deployed. Login to admin panel and flush your Magento cache storage.

HOW TO CONFIGURE THE EXTENSION At the back end, go to Configurations. You can go there from FME Extensions > Configurations. Here you will find the following:  

Show Default Tabs: Enable/Disable default tabs on products Open/Change Tab: Options to open or change tabs as  On Click  On Hover

HOW TO MANAGE PRODUCT TABS At the back end go to Manage Product Tabs, you can go there from FME Extensions > Manage Product Tabs. Here you can find all the tabs in a grid. You can create new product tabs by clicking on Add New Tab.

Once you click on Add New Tab you will find the following fields to fill. 

Status: Enable/Disable the tab



Title: Provide title for the tab



Content: Provide a description for the tab using WIZIWIG editor



Position: Specify the position of tab



Date From: Specify which date it will be enabled on



Date To: Specify which date it will be disabled on



Background Color: Specify the background color of the tab



Store View: Specify store views the tab will be enabled on



Select Customer Groups: Specify customer groups the tab will be displayed for



Show Related Product Tab



Show UpSells Product Tab



Show Cross-Sells Product Tab



Conditions: Provide conditions on which the tabs will be available. If no conditions are provided then the tab will be available based on the store views and customer groups

Select Attributes: Options to specify which attributes will be displayed in the tab
