Overview of Project and Requisite Research Support Services
MWRIinErieisanoutpatientfacilitythatisstaffedandequippedtosupportclinicalandtranslational research. ThefacilityhasbothaClinicalandTranslationalResearchCenter(CTRC)andaSpecimen ProcurementUnit(OSPU).TheMWHamotCTRCincludes2multipurposeinterview/telemedicine/consult spaces. Examroomsandphlebotomyspacesareavailableintheclinicoffice. Specimenprocessingand storageareavailableintheOSPU. Theunitsarestaffedbyaresearchoperationscoordinatorandresearch assistantswhosupportscreening,enrollmentandfollow-upofconsentedsubjects. Additionalresourceswill bedrivenbytheexpressedneedsoftheinvestigatorsworkingintheCTRC.
Informationprovidedinthisformwillbeusedtoidentifythepopulation,staffandtechnologyresources requiredtosuccessfullyimplementaproposedstudythroughMWRIinErie.
