Des réfugiées saoudiennes aux call-centers chinois, en passant par les touristes en overstay, il cumule les casquettes, les opérations coup de poing et les déclarations fracassantes... A 48 ans, le chef de la police de l’immigration, le général Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn - un surnom qui lui a été donné par son père, policier et joueur à ses heures perdues, en hommage à sa carte préférée, le Joker - est pressenti pour devenir le prochain Commissaire Général thaïlandais, la plus haute fonction policière du pays.
