In a newly built warehouse, this CNC company wanted to offer a fun interactive break area to their workers.

Space efficiency was key in this project as the workplace area removed warehouse floor space that could not be used for machinery. Inspection room and breakout area for workers have direct access to the workshop floor whereas executive and financial teams shared an upper floor space.

The project was fast paced as we had to make sure the operational teams were able to start work as soon as the space was acquired by the company.

In a newly built office building in New York, the CEO of this bank wanted to create a workplace that was visually entirely open.

Practically all walls are made of glass and most of the office space can be seen from one corner to the other.

Employee and client facing areas were none the less divided into 2 zones where staff had their own break out area separate from the lounge bar space for events, client reception area and informal meetings.

The reception bar and dining area was entirely custom designed by our team in an attempt to create a unique “lounge bar” vibe.

This L.A. based tech start-up chose to settle down in a 1930’s downtown building. For budget reasons we were constrained by having to work with the existing layout making this project a real challenge to accommodate occupancy requirements and fulfillINSTRIDE employee wellbeing.

MEETING ROOM TABLE DESIGN Working with and around the existing aesthetics, we designed a SOUTH HILL STREET custom wood paneling system that enabled us 448 to reshape the spaceCTM2 LOS ANGELES CA 90013 without touching existing walls or building new ones up.

11 x 17 09-07-2019 We created custom furniture for all key pieces including board room tables, CEO and EA desks and kitchen.

This food hall project in London is an innovative workplace restauration concept where one single restaurant offers a broad choice of cuisines from an array of providers and brands.

As its first restaurant location, we had to translate this new way of eating into a practical and esthetic restaurant which is located within a workplace building. Due to its location, the use of space had to be flexible, where it could transform itself from a food hall to a grocerie store or bar and event space throughout the day and the week.

In order to make the space felxible we designed custom furniture including the food displays sketched above. These display pieces can contain ready to eat food or fresh ingredients to use throughout the day.

Once the restaurant and store close, the display furniture closes up and transforms into a statement wall with custom finishes (wood cladding, wallpaper, wall art, paint etc.)

The space is now ready to welcome clients and users in the bar and event space.

This hotel project was to be one of many in India. The client wished to introduce a new affordable hoteling service in the country, where visitors could experience their entire stay through the wonders of connected technology.

To counter the futuristic approach of the project, the HALEYbalance MCLANE LTD design wasStudioto39, 65mimic Alfred Road the traditional high standard beauty of W2 5EU London www.haleymclane.com Parisian buildings.

The entire facade would be made of plaster mouldings conceived in the UK and assembled on site like a jigsaw fixed onto the concrete structure.

A new pizzeria chain owner approached George to help him translate the innovative and creative concept of his new brand into its first restaurant in South London. The brand identity is a mix of connected technology, authentic and organic products, and affordable prices which we aimed to translate into a physical space.

Working with a great team of brand designer, contractor, structural engineer, furniture maker and other specialists, all elements were custom made, down to the alphabetical tiles for the wall menu and the terrazzo flooring.

Danielle shares an office space with George. While I was working as an architect for George’s firm procuring planning applications and solving technical queries, I had the opportunity to help Danielle out with designing stunning houses in London.

I discovered the world of FF&E here in the UK and enjoyed crafting elegant interiors for demanding clients.

I assisted Danielle in project photoshoots (top). Though I did not take part in the design of this specific project, it represents the type of design we would work on together.

A Haussmannian style building was to be completely refurbished and redesigned into a workplace building for a law firm in the heart of Paris. The layout, windows and front courtyard were modified and an extension was made in the rear courtyard.

My role was to assist weekly on the resolution of design queries as they arised on site and produce technical and detailed drawings including the stairs, lighting and flooring, for consultants and professionals.

The hand over took place in April 2017.

A luxurious private town house was entirely refurbished for a family of five. The basement was stripped down and rebuilt to install a swimming pool/spa area, a home cinema, a wine cellar and an independant studio flat. The most challenging part of this project was to integrate an elevator within the house as well as a car elevator leading to a private underground parking.

My role was to attend weekly site meetings and assist the lead designer in resolving design queries, drawing up details and 3Ds for installation and construction and updating the layout plans for client updates and reviews.

The restaurant above was conceived in a narrow unit (23,5m x 6.5m) of a commercial area. Taking into consideration the client’s aesthetical criteria and the occupancy requirements (50 to 60 seatings and 20sqm of kitchen and storage), the general atmosphere of this restaurant is a fusion of a traditional creperie and of a modern, industrial space.

The clothing shop was one of many that we were to update to the brand’s new visual identity. My role was to produce technical and detailed drawings for construction and health & safety after having conceived layouts following the client’s brief.
