01 A city aggregation in HongKong

Future Urbanism The most liberal urban polymer in Hong Kong In the early 20th century, the Kowloon Walled village of Hong Kong fell into anarchy due to political uncertainty. In this 2.7-hectare site, the early formal urban design of the apartment buildings were illegally converted by local residents, and the population and functions of the residents were already different. Although The Kowloon Walled city was demolished in the last century, as the most classical bottom-up design method of informal urbanization, it influenced the whole city.

The design site is located in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong, where large-scale illegal reconstruction cannot be carried out due to the control of the government, but problems such as housing and public security also emerge endlessly.

This design aims to solve the problems of insufficient land use, low green area and low quality of life in Hong Kong through a controllable bottom-up growth method.

An idealized city is built through formal urban design. However, many factors, such as vague politics, disunified planning and inadequate consideration, will lead to deviation in reality. Meanwhile, there is a lack of standardized management and renovation.

Top-down is reasonable, unified planning, bottom-up is from the user's most basic needs. Controlling the relationship between the two can avoid a lot of unnecessary waste of resources and improve the quality of life and participation of residents.

02 The War Museum

De-romanticize the real battlefield

This is a disused ICBM missile launcher in Texas, where we're going to transform it to reflect the public's perception of war at different times in history through a series of historical events following the end of the Cold War. We see the future through history.

Once upon a time , we chose to be worshipers of the weapons of destruction . Thought they were bringing us creation (death and birth).By arming oneself and war to make oneself look strong, actually cover up one's inner lack of strength.

But those who make wars will eventually fall into them.

When the disaster of war falls on these fanatical fetishists , fear spreads like a plague .

The continuity of time and space changes the concept of war among ordinary people and the value of soldiers begins to disappear . How can the government control it? Each group has its own romanticized and aggressive things, so there are conflicts and memorials.And it's changing.

03 The value of Factory

Since the 20th century, with the influx of capital, traditional workshops have been transformed into assembly line factories, and our production level has gradually improved, but workers' perception of self-worth has been declining. As individuals, we cannot be reduced to the insensitive gear in the great industrial age, so the embodiment of personal value becomes particularly important.

The project is located in the old industrial area of Yangpu District, Shanghai, with a large number of abandoned factories and close to several universities.This design integrates part of the waste, forming a new coffee factory with a complete system for people to visit.According to the f ive functions of Coffee production, the factory is divided into Goods in, Baking Room, Grinding Room, Coffee Extraction Room and Packaging Room.

Each space has a working area for workers and an area for tourists, combined with a large number of interactive experiential shops,Through the primary and secondary relationship between workers and tourists in the same space, the working class plays an absolutely important role in social production and construction, so that workers can understand their own value.

04 An emotional translation of "Evangelion" characters I hope you can get rid of the bondage of the flesh, become a particle into the structure I imagined, and feel the emotional entanglements between the protagonists with different personalities through a visual feast.

The structure sets up three corresponding story lines with three protagonists with different personalities, and extracts the node setting scenes where the protagonists' emotions change from the story, which are interconnected.

A total of 4 chapters and 16 scenes are interlinked.Among them, the first and second chapters are figurative emotional translation, expressing the process of perfecting one's own character through the friction of life after knowing each other.The third chapter is the emotional translation of intention, representing the destruction of each body, and the transition to the fourth chapter.The fourth chapter is to complete the ascending dimension, abstract expression of their respective spiritual sea.And then finally the process of returning to the body.

In the end, I hope that no matter what kind of personality you are before this, you can put yourself into the character you have chosen to examine this experience and feel the differences of different personalities generated by different experiences, so as to reach a reconciliation with those around you who are not right or wrong, but only caused by the differences of personalities.

Shinji wants to get to know each other and get closer, but he is often hurt by the unknown side of others. depression: the inability to adapt to the subtle relationships between people in society, where everyone around you is too complex to understand and gradually becomes the axis of despair and fear in your heart.

REI Family tragedy: Identity: An artificial human mass-produced from the DNA of Shinji's mother.
