The Expansive Beauty of Mother Nature Defined Within Photoshop
Problem
How can the horrors of climate change be beautifully integrated into a collection of images? It’s hard to depict the horrible realities into compelling imagery without seeming disingenuous. With this collection of collages, I focused on bringing awareness to real world conflicts in a meaningful yet interesting way.
Goals
• Use colors to influence emotions within the viewer
• Personify mother nature in order to empathize with the viewer
Solution
For my collage, I showed blooming flowers in glorious colors within the mind of a woman, growing outwards and becoming uncontrollable. The earth has not fully decayed yet, but with continued mistreatment and ignorance within society, mother nature’s flowers will soon wilt away.

FARMER’S FRIEND
A Humane Product Line Inspired by Charming Farm Animals
Problem
American farm animals are so often subjected to cruel mistreatment, through mutilation, confined spaces, and constant breeding. Unfortunately, I can’t change the agricultural industry on my own, but I can create a kind and environmentally conscious farm to show industries how these babies should be treated.
Goals
• Craft hand drawn illustrations with to show human texture and subtle patterning.
• Define a story of genuine farmer’s with diverse packaging prototypes that highlight natural resources.
Solution
For my Farmer’s Friend product line, I showed the wide variety of products that can be made through treating animals on the land with love for the sacrifices they make. The a cow has soft grass beneath her feet to emphasize sustainable practices and implemented patterns and soft colors to evoke warmth within viewers. Rustic typography shows a sense of hard work and community that comes with traditional farming.

Delicious Treats Through Smooth Line work
Problem
As a little girl, I loved to draw, paint, and make silly art for the sake of having fun. As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized illustration can be more than simple stick figures.
Design Goals
• Create different textures through brushes and weight differences.
• Implement negative space to enhance spacial relationships.
Solution
Throughout my series of vector illustrations, my main goal was to enjoy my own creativity. While studying light and proportions is important for advanced work, my favorite kinds of illustration mix food with something cute. With the help of reference photos and Adobe Illustrator, I was able to create unique illustrations to my style and personality..

Bubbly Soft Drinks Meant to Mix!
Problem
Soda, or maybe you call it pop, is a sweetened soft drink that have a variety of different flavors. However, these flavors are always the same. Why not create a fresh twist on America’s favorite beverage by mixing flavors together?
Goals
• Promote excitement through dimension and dynamic movement with repetitive shapes.
• Illustrate custom typography to showcase bold flavors.
Solution
Sodipop is intended to diversify the beverage market by allowing two of any classic flavors to be mixed together. Complimentary tastes combine to create a unique experience for the customer with every sip.


FURBABIES MINIZINE
Designing a Creative Editorial Layout With Cute Puppies
Problem
Every dog owner knows their dogs have a unique personality. Why is it that all dog magazines focus on people? For the sake of dogs all around the world, I kept the focus on our furry friends, with a fun twist.
Goals
• Create visual interest with compelling photography.
• Utilize dynamic typography to create exciting headers and consistent body copy.
Solution
To effectively create a playful magazine, I used a bright color palette and bold headers to pull in the viewer and incentive them to read the articles. The focus Furbabies magazine is drastically different than most, as the dogs point of view is prioritized over owners and these so called, “dog experts.”





SUAVE CO.
Constructing Hygiene Products For Young Adults With Acne
Problem
As designers, one of the most challenging tasks we face is creating a cohesive brand and developing consistent brand standards. Suave Co. was created as a fictitious self care brand in competition with “trendy” skincare lines that only intend to soak up money.
Goals
• Unify the brand through logo and color systems .
• Comfort the audience through minimalistic packaging with white space and high contrast.
Solution
When creating Suave Co., a fictitious self care brand, I appealed to young adults who desire a simpler routine to make caring for your body relaxing instead of overwhelming. Suave Co. Features natural ingredients that actually keep your body feeling and looking healthy, without breaking the bank.
