DI’ HOUSE HOME INTERIOR
INTERNSHIP PROJECT - INTERIOR - 2023
LIVING ROOM This project is an interior design project for a two-story house with a minimalist theme. In the living room, the client wants to create a space for family gatherings, with a TV and a large screen for a projector so that the central area can be transformed into a mini cinema whenever needed. The client also wishes for the central area to have direct access to the semi-outdoor dining area, which is separated by glass doors. Considering the client's strong passion for reading, they request a dedicated reading space in this not-sospacious central area.

KITCHEN The kitchen area uses black color in the backsplash to prevent wall staining, while the color of the kitchen set matches the client's existing furniture. The kitchen's top table features dark gray marble, while the kitchen island is constructed from solid wood sourced from the client's personal business. The kitchen island is designed with a foldable shape to save space. The kitchen is seamlessly connected to the living room, with an open layout concept.

SEMI-OUTDOOR DINING ROOM The outdoor area serves as a relaxed dining room that can be used for family and colleague gatherings. The dining space is designed as semi-outdoor, with the addition of a concrete slab on the second floor as a roof. The chairs are permanently attached to the wall, with a wooden table in the center. In one corner of the room, an open area is left without a roof, featuring a small garden space for the client's frangipani tree.

BED ROOM In the small bedroom area, measuring 4x5 meters, the client wishes to place a kingsized bed with a wardrobe and sufficient storage for belongings, as well as a vanity table for dressing. The room has direct access to two balconies facing the front and back yards. With ample use of glass, the client requests the installation of vertically retractable curtains as a sunblast. The bedroom design is kept minimalistic, with a predominantly white color scheme, and accents of black on the wardrobe frame.
