College Work 2020
Book Design
By exploring the various components of research, analysis, and concept development, this Helvetica type specimen book sheds light on its significant role in the world of typography. The process of creating this book involved carefully addressing issues of readability, legibility, consistency, and developing an effective organizational hierarchy within a grid structure.

CAMP KERN
College Work 2020
Branding
Camp Kern holds a special place in my heart as it's where I learned self-expression. However, their current branding could use a fresh take. This redesign incorporates playful colors and a child-like aesthetic, evoking nostalgia and happiness that the current branding lacks.

QUAKER OATS College Work 2021
Packaging
The Quaker Oats brand has remained unchanged for a considerable period and now seems outdated, appealing to a limited demographic. Oatmeal is a versatile and affordable meal that should appeal to everyone. This brand redesign targets Gen-Z, particularly college students, with a contemporary color scheme, captivating illustrations, and a new figure representing a diverse range of individuals.

GRANFALLOON College Work 2021
Collaborative Branding
Crafted a dynamic brand campaign in partnership with the IU Arts and Humanities Council to promote the Granfalloon Festival, showcasing its lively music performances and diverse cultural experiences through captivating design.

BUTTON’S BREW College Work 2021

Packaging
Most coffee packaging looks the same. Button’s Brew is a unique coffee brand that stands out on store shelves to attract traditional and unconventional coffee drinkers alike. A risky move in a crowded market, the concept succeeds on the strength of warm, personable brand elements, bright colors, and funky illustrations that invite a delightful coffee drinking experience.

UDR College Work 2021
Branding
Meet UDR, a fictional yet sustainable, organic, and familyowned dairy farm nestled in the charming town of Camden, Maine. To catch the eye of discerning shoppers, UDR blends opulent design with a touch of humor, appealing to a diverse range of consumers. This brand identity is a masterpiece of extravagance, without the hefty price tag. Sorry for the pun, but it's udderly fantastic!

RAY BRADBURY College
Work 2022
Branding
My colleagues and I were assigned the challenge of redesigning the identity for the esteemed Center for Bradbury Studies in Indianapolis, IN. Out of many submissions, my logo and identity design was chosen to represent the Center. The success of the design lies in its clever use of modern typography and purposeful iconography, effectively showcasing the Center's unique focus in a fresh and compelling way.

YELLOW PROJECT

College Work 2023 Campaign
The Yellow Project was born out of a desire to spread hope and happiness in a tangible way. Through strategically placed signs and stickers throughout the streets of Bloomington, IN, I was able to directly reach and reassure members of the community that their emotions are valid and that they are not alone. There are so many reasons to be blue. Why not try yellow?

THANK YOU
If you like what you see, let's work together to create something even better. And if you don't like what you see, let's still work together.
GRAPHIC DESIGN PORTFOLIO
MADDY REISCHEL
The world would be an eerie blank canvas without the imaginative brains of creatives everywhere. I am a self-motivated designer who is focused on utilizing unconventionally fresh material that challenges viewers to analyze aspects of their worlds in new and surprising ways. More specifically, I design to provoke audiences, to encourage them to think deeply about topics they don't usually think about, to spark action and engagement that they might otherwise be unwilling to take, to summon emotions that would otherwise lie dormant.
