Welcome to my working portfolio! I am a motivated and hardworking student with a passion for all phases of the design & construction process. I am looking to obtain a full-time position in the Interior Design or Architecture field to expand on my knowledge of successful design communication and utilize skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Revit, and other varying design programs.

With the opportunity of a junior position in the design field, I can bring my confidence, problem-solving, and organizational skills to a team, while eager to gain additional real-world design experience.

The residence will be designed with functionality as it’s driving force. This space will foster growth and encourage the couple to pursue the adventurous lifestyle they want to live. Defined by expansive, unobstructed windows, the lines between interior and exterior are blurred and allow the residents to live alongside nature.

Raw materials and open-style storage combined with functional form and warm neutral finishes, this space will provide ample space for their weekend recreational gear while also giving the couple the aesthetic escape they desire.

Design a residence that does not exceed 650 feet square feet total. The space must be catered to the client’s specific needs, with modern-day sustainability applications in mind.

CONCEPT: “COMMUNITY IMMERSION”

LOCATION

An unorthodox hotel experience where you have the opportunity to become part of the unique culture that defines Asheville.

The style of design intends to blend into the existing community, working in harmony with them. Full of life and color, the Hoppy Daze Hotel will provide clients with a high-end, but genuine travel experience.

BAR & RESTAURANT FIRST FLOOR PLAN

Located in the western part of the state, nestled into the Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville is known for it’s vibrant art, people, and lifestyle. The site itself is located in downtown Asheville, directly across from Pritchard Park, where the infamous drum circles and food truck fairs occur weekly within the local community.

OBJECTIVE:

Design a boutique hotel that creates a memorable experience for guests staying in the chosen location. The hotel includes an attached restaurant and ergonomic office systems for employees.

CONCEPT: “BACK TO THE BASICS”

OBJECTIVE:

R E T A I L

To design a townhome with a first floor storefront and retail space with a second floor residence for the store owners.

CLIENT:

A middle-aged couple who wants to open up a LEGO retail store and live in a small apartment above the store.

Taking a user back to the era where LEGO was comprised of simple square and rectangular bricks, and the creative possibilities were endless. Using this concept for the storefront display and retail space is intended to not only speak to today’s youth, but also the original LEGO generation that had a different appreciation for the brand.

The residence will follow the same design concept, using straight lines and natural materials, brought to life through accent rugs, wall art, and other accessories.
