A LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FOR MACKENZIE JACKSON To Whom It May Concern, I worked with Mackenzie Jackson on an annual fundraiser for The Miracle Foundation in Fall of 2022 (Miracles with Will). I’d been running the fundraiser on my own since 2016, and was looking to increase social media presence. The goal was to create, manage, and grow Social Media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and TicTok - with the ultimate goal of raising $5000 in one month. Before the campaign started, Mackenzie jumped right in - applying her classroom and previous fundraiser skills. She immediately impressed me with a brand strategy plan - including media strategy, color scheme, tone, and “story.” This was just what I’d been missing! Throughout this project, Mackenzie continued to exhibit a high tier of professionalism. She is organized, efficient, communicative, and action-oriented. Her work helped the fundraiser get off to a strong start, expand and refine social platform presence, and lead to its ultimate success. (Her efforts also lead to the title “Miracles with Will.") The previous year, I’d raised just under $4000. Thanks to MacKenzie’s efforts, the fundraiser exceeded its $5000 goal and raised over $8000 in a single month! This far exceeded the goal, would not have been possible without MacKenzie’s great work.
