LAYER PRICIPLE LAYER 1 - BODYWEAR VOOR VOCHTREGULERING Functionele onderkleding is de basis van iedere outfit. Het voert het transpiratievocht af naar de buitenkant van de onderkleding, waar het verdampt of wordt doorgegeven aan de volgende kledinglaag. Zo blijft de huid droog, de spieren warm en je lichaam behoudt de ideale temperatuur. Om het vocht optimaal van de huid te laten wegtrekken, zit de onderkleding comfortabel om het lichaam. Hierbij dient het mooi aan te sluiten. Onderkleding wordt zowel in de winter als in de zomer gedragen, wel zijn er verschillende varianten verkrijgbaar.

LAYER 2 - THERMOWEAR VOOR ISOLATIE EN WARMTEREGULERING De tweede, isolerende tussenlaag geeft het transpiratievocht en de overtollige warmte door naar de volgende kledinglaag of aan de buitenlucht . Hierdoor blijft de huid droog en de lichaamstemperatuur constant. De isolerende werking voorkomt tegelijkertijd dat de huid teveel afkoelt. Bovendien beschermt de tussenlaag tegen kou van buitenaf. Waardevolle warmte en energie blijven zo behouden.

LAYER 3 - OUTERWEAR VOOR BESCHERMING De derde en buitenste laag beschermt tegen invloeden van buitenaf, zoals wind, kou en regen. Tegelijkertijd transporteert het overtollige warmte en transpiratievocht uit de lagen daaronder naar buiten.

LAYER 1 CLOTHING KEEPS YOU BOTH COOL AND DRY BY TRANSPORTING MOISTURE AWAY FROM THE SKIN AND DISTRIBUTING IT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE GARMENT, WHERE IT EITHER EVAPORATES OR IS PASSED ON TO THE NEXT LAYER. Bodywear is the first or inner layer of clothing you wear. It is designed to be worn next to the skin. For optimal performance and comfort, it should always be worn underneath your outer layers or by itself, regardless of weather conditions.

LAYER 2 CLOTHING HOLDS WARM DRY, INSULATING AIR INSIDE THE CLOTHING SYSTEM AND CLOSE TO THE BODY. IT, THEREFORE, PROVIDES INSULATION AND WARMTH WHILE TRANSPORTING MOISTURE AND EXCESS HEAT TO THE NEXT LAYER OR INTO THE SURROUNDING AIR. Thermowear is the middle layer of clothing you wear. It is designed to be worn loose fit. The thicker or loftier the layer the greater its heat retaining ability. Ideal for rugged professional extreme outdoor use.

Fibre pile and fleece are vital thermal layer components in the three-layer-principle. Those fabrics work on the principle of air insulation. The functional fibres create a layer which traps air and collects body warmth. Moreover, fibre pile and fleece are rapid drying, low weight, soft and comfortable, very warm, robust, hydrophobic and simultaneously highly breathable.

Softshell is revolutionising the classic “onion layering” or multiple layer principle by combining the second and third layers - creating a garment that offers both temperature regulation and weather protection. Softshell garments are highly abrasionresistant, elastic and wind-resistant, as well as offering enduring water and dirt repellent properties.

LAYER 3 CLOTHING IS YOUR SHIELD AGAINST THE ELEMENTS AND PROVIDES COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE NO MATTER THE CONDITIONS. THIS OUTERMOST LAYER PROTECTS AGAINST RAIN, WIND AND COLD. AT THE SAME TIME IT ALLOWS SURPLUS HEAT AND MOISTURE FROM THE LAYERS UNDERNEATH TO CONTINUE ITS WAY FROM THE BODY INTO THE OUTSIDE WORLD. Waterproof breathable materials form the outer layer. The term waterproof-breathable refers to any fabric with a PTFE coating laminated to the inside, that both repels water and moves moisture and vapour from the inside to the outside. Because a drop of water is very large in comparison to a molecule of water vapour, the small pores within these fabrics have the ability to block out rain, snow and fog while allowing vapour from body moisture to evaporate through the membrane. You stay dry and warm.

LAYER 2 THERMOWEAR FüR ISOLATION UND WäRMEREGULIERUNG Die wärmende, mittlere Lage sorgt bei kalten Temperaturen für Isolation und verhindert den Verlust von Körperwärme. Darüber hinaus leitet diese Schicht die von der ersten Lage abgeführte Feuchtigkeit weiter an die nächste Bekleidungsschicht oder an die Außenluft.

LAYER 3 OUTERWEAR FüR WETTERSCHUTZ Die dritte und äußerste Lage schützt den Körper vor äußeren Einflüssen wie Wind, Kälte und Regen. Gleichzeitig transportiert sie überschüssige Wärme und Körperfeuchtigkeit von den unteren Lagen nach draußen.
