THE HEART AND SOUL BEHIND OUR EXCEPTIONAL EVENTS AND INTERIORS IS FOUNDER, MICHAEL OWEN KEW. HE HAS SPENT OVER 14 YEARS IMMERSED IN THE EVENTS AND STYLING SCENE, COLLABORATING WITH THE INDUSTRY’S FINEST. HIS JOURNEY IS A TESTAMENT TO BREATHTAKING EVENTS AN HIS INVALUABLE LEARNINGS.
M.O.K. OUR FOUNDER, WITH A LOVE OF DANISH INTERIOR AND FURNITURE DESIGN, ABBA’S SWEDISH MUSIC AND THE ENGINEERING OF GERMAN CARS, DREW FROM THESE ICONS AND THUS THE SCANDINAVIAN WORD ‘KREATIV’ WAS BORN.

PRIVATE WEDDING
Welcome to Doug and Jess’s special day, the couple’s dream was transformed into a magical reality with the help of Harry the hirer and Superbloom by The Style Co with food and beverages by Clover.
The ceremony was a dream come true. The romantic aisle, lined with fresh and preserved flowers, led to a handmade stage created by the groom, adorned with abundant florals. The moment Jess and Doug shared their first kiss, steeple bells rang in celebration. Natural striped umbrellas not only protected guests but also added to the enchanting atmosphere of the ceremony.
Pre-dinner drinks were served from a rustic parquetry service bar with a delightful mix of roses, phalaenopsis orchids and pampas grass.
In the Fairhaven marquee, a centrally suspended ubundence of natural dried gum and floral hung with feature rattan light fittings to create an enchanting and romanic ambiance. Festoon lighting added a touch of magic come dusk.
Wishbone and rattan dining chairs added texural and feminine detail when paired with linen draped tables.
CORPORATE SUITE
m.o.k. KREATIV played a pivotal role in the creative elements and execution of this project, ensuring a seamless integration of design and functionality. Republic Events demonstrated their exceptional craftsmanship with a custom ceiling and lighting installation, bespoke powder-coated steel dividers, and a stunning custom-built bar adorned with gold finishes.
m.o.k. KREATIV conceptualised and rolled out the unique furniture elements, bringing a fresh and dynamic perspective to the collaboration. This included the feature seating area with light blue armchairs, coffee tables with gold bases, and herringbone marble tops, all tied together by a specially sourced patterned rug. The accessories, designed in gold, and the inclusion of artwork by the Young Archies, further highlighted the innovative contributions of m.o.k. KREATIV.
Australian Open
Accessories were uniquely designed in gold and artwork by the Young Archies added a cultural flair. It was a pleasure to collaborate with Republic Events, with whom we have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for over 14 years.
Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix
FERRARI FACILITY
The Australian Grand Prix 2024, Ferrari activation by Bastion, was a true testament to the privilege and prestige associated with such a distinguished brand. Held at a venue custom-designed by Space Cube guests were transported to a slice of Italy, surrounded by the rich heritage and elegance that Ferrari embodies.
The venue’s design was nothing short of spectacular, meticulously curated to reflect Italian customs and aesthetics. Italian food and produce were prominently displayed, and the walls adorned with art and photography celebrating Italy and Ferrari’s storied history.
The furniture selection, curated by m.o.k. KREATIV, seamlessly blended contemporary design with traditional Italian influences, creating a cohesive flow from the indoor spaces to the outdoor entertainment areas. Key highlights included: classic bistro chairs, emulating the charm of Italian restaurants, showcased alongside custom-built seating areas with lush greenery and Italianinspired floral arrangements. Elegant tan leather and velvet stools and chairs surrounded terrazzo high bar and cafe tables, adding a touch of sophistication.
On the outdoor patio and lawn, terrazzo tables were paired with crisp white and metal patterned chairs and oversized white umbrellas, enhancing the outdoor dining experience. Plentiful greenery in planter boxes and floral displays brought a vibrant and refreshing touch, merging nature with the premium setting.
This project, a collaboration between m.o.k. KREATIV and Bastion, was not only exciting but also a significant honor, showcasing the trust and prestige associated with the Ferrari brand.

This home astounds with its attention to detail and sophisticated, light-filled interiors. Featuring travertine and marble accents, along with curated furniture selections and bespoke decor artifacts.
It also features various textures and pops of color, including boucle, velvet and natural timbers. The dual study zone, is equipped with custom joinery with abundant space for the client’s collection of decor and inclusive dining zone.

The rooms are adorned with pieces sourced from Kartell, Arne Jacobsen, Charles & Ray Eames, and Fritz Hansen with a curation of accessories from Bromley & Co, Norsu, Provincial and Fenton & Fenton. Walls feature contemporary art by Romy M. Sanders. Additionally, the home includes Aboriginal art by the well-known William Sandy, photography by Anna Luscombe, and works by Mark Rothko from New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
KENSINGTON ROAD
Situated in a coveted boutique block, this grand Spanish Mission Mansion-style home, circa 1928 named DULVERTON, has retained its period charm, yet styled to create a modern haven in South Yarra. Positioned on the first floor, it overlooks the Plane Oak trees on Kensington Road. m.o.k. KREATIV sourced a blend of contemporary pieces and mid-century timeless classics that reflect the client’s passion for the aforementioned period, a love of fine art and a keen interest for enjoying iconic interior magazines.
LEGATT STREET
This breathtaking cottage is nestled in the heart of Daylesford, has been tastefully designed by m.o.k. KREATIV. It is surrounded by magnificent trees and lovely gardens crafted by renowned landscape designer Patrick Milne of The Scape Artist. It provides an escape from the city and a retreat from the demands of modern life for its owners.
Step inside to discover a meticulously curated interior adorned with unique touches and artistic flourishes. The loft offers panoramic views of the garden, designed to inspire and ignite your imagination. Downstairs, the cozy kitchen area wraps around a central table, directly in front of the fireplace, featuring a ‘Ned Kelly’ wood-fired heater. Indigenous art and locally crafted pieces adorn every corner, adding depth and character to the space. From beautiful homewares to captivating textiles, every detail has been carefully selected to enhance the ambiance.

A small guesthouse, separate from the main cottage, features a queen-size bed and private bathroom.
Throughout the home, you will find indigenous art from Alice Springs and gorgeous pieces from local artists and Robert Gordon Pottery. Beautiful homewares, lighting, and textiles are scattered throughout the house, creating the perfect ambiance for any occasion. Layering and using different textures were key to this country property renovation, paying tribute to the country and the garden visible from each window.
LISTER AVENUE
The Lister Avenue property epitomises sophisticated interior design, blending the timeless elegance of Hampton’s style with the casual coastal ambiance of the local Mornington Peninsula surrounds. Communal spaces are at the heart of this home, each space encourages a sense of connection. A feature fireplace enhances the warmth and charm of the central living area, which offers captivating ocean views.
The interior design process began with the selection of key statement pieces, ensuring a harmonious blend of comfort and style. Lounges, armchairs, dining tables, chairs and stools were carefully chosen, emphasising support for local artisans and stores such as Coastal Living, Big Chair Living, and Australian icon Country Road. These foundational pieces set the stage for a layered and textured aesthetic.
Thoughtfully curated accessories, such as seagull-themed coffee table books, seashells from nearby beaches, and other coastal-inspired decor, contribute to the property’s inviting, lived-in feel. This project was a labour of love, reflected in its ability to evoke warmth and comfort, whether in the vibrant energy of summer or as a cozy retreat in winter.
The home had been recently renovated, showcasing expansive, unobstructed views of the Port Philip Bay. The seamless integration of outdoor and indoor spaces set the tone for how the home was to be used and feel, once styled.
The galley kitchen is a striking example of functional aesthetics, featuring an exceptional Oak Island bench paired with a marble counter top. A unique window splash back invites refreshing sea breezes into the home.
Finishing touches capture the essence of Hampton’s and shabby chic styles. Blue and white striped and chevron-patterned rugs add a touch of classic coastal flair atop the architecturally designed staircase.
