PROPOSAL FOR THE FIRST FLOOR : MASSING, PLANS, ELEVATIONS & 3D RENDERING WERE DEVELOPED
The site is located in Dabouq, a hilly residential district in west Amman at Jordan. Cubic geometries creeping randomly at the surrounding hills of the house site. The owners wanted the house to be flexible enough to accommodate their adult children when they visit, while providing a series of spaces that meet their everyday needs and reflect their different characters.

The design is spread over an area of 2000 square meters in three floors onsite area of 2300 square meters.
The family consists of Seven members who reside and work abroad most of their time. The mother`s intention was to create a space that reunites her family and celebrates their personalities and hobbies.
The house was intended to fulfill the family’s desire to create a sanctuary space for their family members when reunited to enjoy quality time.
This farmhouse is located in the outskirts of Amman, Jordan. It’s meant to reside five family members & one - two guests in holidays.
Public spaces where distributed in a two-storey mass, while more private spaces “bedrooms” occupied a perpendicular single-storey mass thus shaping an “L” layout to surround a pool.
These renderings were made while experimenting with the interior using blender software.

The site was chosen in Lombardy region in northern Italy, the first place where news of death where a shock to the world, but also where signs of resilience and hope where evident.
Piazza Belgioioso’s current condition is not positive, cars park in it, it used to house the great Italian writer Alessandro Manzoni whose novel is a symbol of the Italian Risorgimento or “Italian unification”
The visitor will start by taking a candle and walking down the ramp underground, there he will be faced with walls meant to isolate him from others as Covid did, the path will get darker, he will hear voice recordings of the terrible events, he will be faced with a curved wall that will lead him to a garden, there he will have time to honour the dead, to reflect on life and to move forward, at the end the visitor will be faced with a free standing element and an open theatre where people can sit, meet, talk and share experiences of success and hope.

“ Located in London’s metropolitan green belt, this anonymous, open international design competition aims to generate new ideas and proposals for the construction and delivery of a new house. The design responses should demonstrate a concept of beauty whilst providing a home that responds to the brief. ”
The owners brief was planned as a series of spaces distributed in zones surrounding internal courts. Varied ceiling heights, correlation between dark and light, solid and void, inside and outside are aimed to create a rich experience for the home dwellers.
Performance by definition is an energy consuming process, therefore, an academy where performance art is to be taught has to have certain qualities where the creative soul is allowed to recharge and recover.
And form here came the idea of making the building introverted to surround courts and gardens where communal activities take place.
By creating these three centres “courts”: the poplar court; where there will be shade provided by poplar trees and allows for activities to happen, the water court; where the sound of delicate running water will be nourishing and refreshing for the soul, and the observation court; where the students will not be the centre of attention but mere observers of the garden.
The Design objective was to create a building out of shipping containers, site and function were to be chosen by students. These two minuscule structures - an artist’s dwelling and an atelier – are situated in a remote valley-mountain setting.
The dwelling lies in the valley while the atelier is carved and fitted in the mountain, one of the shipping containers becomes a cable car connecting the two structures.
