Residents launch campaign to save shop and garage RESIDENTS of Uplyme have come together to launch a campaign in hope that one of the main village facilities - the filling station, shop and post office will not be closed down next year. A public meeting was held on Sunday night with residents now planning a petition. REPORT, PAGE 12

We will remember THE Mayor of Lyme Regis, Cllr Brian Larcombe MBE, and the president of the Royal British Legion Lyme Regis branch, Philip Evans MBE, pay their respects at the town’s war memorial after laying wreaths on Armistice Day (yesterday). The short service was well attended by residents, town council staff and Royal British Legion representatives. Remembrance commemorations continue on Sunday with a procession through the town at 10.30am full coverage in the next issue of LymeOnline.

COVID-19 cases decline
