CONTEXT These two floors located in a Manhattan’s highrise, are designed for the headquarters of an international company. The purpose of this design is twofold : communicating the values of the company and providing a refined and pleasurable workspace for all the employees.

High quality and luxurious materials are employed. Every stone slab is carefully selected and joined through the design process in order to unite the overall space.

CONTEXT The design of this Staten Island comfort station made out of modular units is a first step towards the consistency and the standardization of the NYC Parks facilities.

A close attention is given to the materials research in order to highlight the building features and animate the parks environment.

A playful and clear design along with a secure composition for the users are the requirement specifications included in the reflexion.

Taking advantage of the stunning view of the city is the main goal of the design. The west facade is turned into a window towards Lyon.

Furthermore, the mastering of the design price with respect to the client budget is allowed by a surgical procedure on the north facade of the project.

CONTEXT The favorable exposure allows a strategic project positioning on the site in order to take advantage of the green areas from the terraces.

The large windows offer the view towards the outside and create a link between the inside and the outside for the best living experience possible for the inhabitants. The window framing is made out of natural aluminum so they merge with glazing.

The facade materials and their different kind of grey play with the contrast between light and shade.

The contemporary design of the house and the simplicity of the materials allow a sharp but delicate integration in the environment.

CONTEXT The project is located in Beziers, a coastal city in France. The neighborhood is composed of historical buildings, which need to be protected from the construction process. The technical and scientific knowledge, and the selection of the building methods successfully answer these aspects.

The underground facility and the architectural space composition are also both high challenges for the realization. Thanks to the results obtained from modeling tools, a specific expertise is eventually provided.

CONTEXT This under construction project of a student residence takes place in Montpellier in South of France. This « Travail de Fin d’études » covers the aspects of optimisation in terms of time and use of material. Appropriate solutions are implemented for dimension calculations and steel reinforcements of all the structural pieces, according to the resistance of materials principles, loading and stress hypothesis and the reinforced concrete features.

CONTEXT The business world is changing and is constantly adapting to social issues and technological progress.

That evolution improves engineers skills and their responsiveness. My job in EGIS Bâtiments Rhône-Alpes follows that dynamic.

Green Office Link is a project under construction and the main intervention is the introduction of a collaborative platform called SGTi4 in order to manage operations on the field. As a result, an enhancement of the quality procedure is noted, as well as improvements on the firm’s know-how, the expertise and its value within the market.

These section presents a selection of academic projects I have worked on during my studies in Architecture and Engineering.

fort de vaise restoration - historic heritage - heritage preservation city : lyon (fr) architectural students : lydie berthet-bondet - franck jouve - myriam lahalle MISSION This final school project is about the Fort de Vaise restoration. The Foundation Renaud, owner of the Fort de Vaise, displays the lyonnais art of painting. Regarding its new needs, the building demands to be renovated, so that the Foundation can be promoted on the local artistic scene.

CONTEXT The foundation wants the architecture school students of the ENSAL, specialized into historic preservation, to design a project.

With two of my colleagues, we design a project according to the studies we have made on site and the desired building program. We interview some qualified professionals in order to make a real feasability study.

Our architectural answer steers towards a landscape project, conform with the existing quality of the environment of the Fort de Vaise.

urban equipment city : villeurbanne (fr) MISSION This cultural center is incorporated in an urban project which is developed during the fifth semester of the bachelor program.

CONTEXT This conception of a cultural center is located in Villeurbanne downtown, which is a neighbouring city of Lyon (FRANCE).

The architectural program, constituted of an exhibition area, a library, a music school and a multifunctional room, covers a surface of 3000 m².

The project is a sequence which marks and animates the urban promenade between Les Brasses and Cyprian areas.

The proposed design is a monolithic building and a park which is sighted through faults at the north and at the south of the project.

Inside the building, the straight circulations and the facade made out of wood and glass highlight the garden and provide a visual link in the way through the building.

The question was about what the XXI century heritage would be made of.

CONTEXT The project takes place in the city of Rive-deGier. It is an old manufacturing site and a bedroom community nowadays.

The answer here depends upon the understanding of the natural and social environments. In that respect, the design links the collective memory of an old industrial field and the futur appropriation of spaces.

CONTEXT In order to make this rearrangement as optimal and comfortable as possible for the workers, various examples of modern factory and revolutionary solutions are studied. The main goal is to increase the quality and efficiency of the production. In order to present the improvements, 2Ds and 3Ds views are rendered. Different phases, their budget and a report are prepared and shared to the company at the end of the project in order to make this work feasible.
