A BIT OF HISTORY
ROSE BAY to BONDI
The school started its activities in 1965, when the very first French class was created in Rose Bay Public School. In 1966 an agreement signed between the Department of Education of NSW and a French Association, named AEFE, was created for this occasion. In 1970 the small school was moved to Bondi.
RANDWICK to BELLEVUE HILL
From 1980 to 1983, the classes of the secondary school were split between 4 schools in Randwick. In 1984, they were grouped in one small building belonging to St Stephan’s Church in Bellevue Hill. In 1988 the French School acquired a new premise located in Maroubra and renovations have been carried out to allow the opening of the school in its new location.
MAROUBRA
Finally, in 2003 the school purchased another public secondary school in Maroubra, where they are currently located.
