Rock
Country
Early American folk music and Western music are the main influences of this genre. Using string instruments like the guitar or banjo, simple ballads are frequently heard in country music.
The term "rock music" refers to a broad category of popular music that first appeared as "rock and roll" in the United States in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Rock music's instrumentation has traditionally focused on the electric guitar, which is typically played in a rock band together with the electric bass guitar, drums, and one or more vocals.
Objective: Objective:
Classical Identify the music genres.
In general, the term "classical music" refers to Western art music, which is distinguished from Western folk music or popular music traditions. As "classical music" also refers to non-Western art music, it is occasionally distinguished as Western classical music.

Jazz:
With roots in blues and ragtime, jazz is a musical style that first appeared in the African-American neighborhoods of New Orleans, Louisiana, in the late 19th and early 20th century. It has been acknowledged as a significant form of musical expression in both traditional and popular music since the Jazz Age of the 1920s. Jazz includes influences from both African rhythmic ceremonies and European harmonies.
Pop
Pop music is a subgenre of popular music that first appeared in the United States and the United Kingdom in the middle of the 1950s. Even though the phrases popular music and pop music are frequently used interchangeably, the former refers to all music that is popular and encompasses a wide range of different genres.
Hip hop:
Also known simply as hip-hop music, is a genre of popular music that first appeared in New York City in the 1970s. It consists of a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted, as well as stylized rhythmic music (often structured around drum beats) that frequently accompanies rapping.

Music always makes things happen
Read the following text
Tania and the music.
Tania is an eleven-year-old girl who lives in Boston. She adores music. However, since she moved recently, her taste in her music has not been the same. Back home in Salt Lake City, she did not listen to all kinds of musical genres. She always played dolls with her friends to the rhythm of pop music. Sometimes, she would listen to country music when she was sad. Currently, nothing is the same. She rarely listened to rock before, now she always does it when angry. In addition, it is the first time that she has listened to hip-hop. She seldom played jazz to relax. Nowadays, she listens to classical music every time she studies for an exam. She thinks that she can't live without music. Therefore, she will continue discovering new genres through her CDs, the radio, and music classes.
