After months of planning and weeks of anticipation we have our matchup for the 2024 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl -- and we can’t wait. Some teams just “sound” like big-time bowl game programs and we undoubtedly have one on each sideline this year as the storied Trojans of USC will take on the Aggies of Texas A&M on December 27. You want history? How about a combined 102 combined postseason appearances between these two bluebloods of the sport.
USC, of course, was just here a few months ago when we last saw them upsetting LSU in front of a record crowd at Allegiant Stadium in the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic. A&M, however, is coming to us from the SEC and has not only not played in our game before but has never even played football in the state of Nevada.
We are also excited to kick off our famous Bowl Week and its many events for players, staff and fans -- this time with a little holiday flare as this is just the second Las Vegas Bowl to take place after Christmas Day.
On a personal note, I want to wish Coach Barry Odom and his wife, Huddle member Tia Odom, the very best as their family moves to Purdue University after two great seasons resurrecting our hometown Rebels. That being said, I look forward to having new UNLV head coach Dan Mullen and his family in Las Vegas after many years of friendship living across the country.
It’s truly a great time to be a Rebel and we wish UNLV good luck in its appearance in the LA Bowl next week.
Yes, it’s Bowl Time! See you at our events and at Allegiant Stadium on a rocking Friday night!

Aggies and Trojans to Meet for First Time in 47 years
The SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl will feature Texas A&M (8-4/5-3) facing USC (6-6/4-5) on Friday, Dec. 27, at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT (10:30 p.m. ET) on ESPN.
The Aggies of the SEC will play in the Silver State for the first time and serve as the home team, while the Trojans of the Big Ten Conference will make their first appearance in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl in 11 years and third overall (2013, 2001). USC will both begin and end its season at Allegiant Stadium as it played LSU in the Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic on Sept. 1.
Texas A&M and USC have met just three times, with the Trojans having won each time. The most recent meeting came in the Bluebonnet Bowl on Dec. 31, 1977.
Las Vegas Bowl XXXIII will just be the second edition that takes place post-Christmas.
“What a powerful matchup of historic college football brand names we have this year in USC and Texas A&M,” said SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl executive director John Saccenti. “This will be a great mix of a nearby university that we welcome to the bowl for the third time and a first-time visitor to our game that is only the second team we’ve hosted from the state of Texas. We can’t wait for these two powerhouse programs from the SEC and Big Ten to travel to Las Vegas for our famous bowl week in the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World.”
Tickets, which start at $70 (plus fees), are available by visiting www.lvbowl.com. The Las Vegas Bowl is one of 17 bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN.
Last year’s game saw Northwestern of the Big Ten defeat Utah 14-7 on December 23 in the third SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl played at Allegiant Stadium.
