ABOUT LISE

Interior design has been a life-long interest for Lise. As she prepares for a second career, Lise is building her professional design skills by completing her Bachelor in Interior Design at l’Université de Montréal, refining her Sketchup, Revit and Enscape proficiencies while gaining first hand professional experience She is hardworking and organized team-player that is sensitive to design features that surround me.  She is looking for a paid internship position that will help her learn more about the interior design industry firsthand while offering her skills, talent and enthusiasm.  She looks forward to meeting with you to discuss a collaboration.

Personal projects 2017 to Present

 Selection and sourcing of materials, furnishings, textiles, and decorative elements for a newly built country home.

 Worked closely with architect, David Morin, in developing the design elements of our current home. Selection and sourcing of materials, furnishings, textiles, and decorative elements.

 Redesigned basement hallway to include a large closet with bespoke sliding doors and a library nook including a children’s section below the stairs.

Real Estate Investor

Own and manage several apartments 2013 to Present

 Hands on design and renovation experience while making improvements to apartments in between tenants.

Cycle 3 Elementary School Teacher

Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board 1997 to Present

 Built relationships with students and parents building a positive environment for open discussion and decision making.

 Ran a Musical Theatre Club with grades 4 to 6 students from 2011 to 2018 at Franklin Hill Elementary including a production of In the Heights, Wicked, Frozen and Pinocchio.

 Proudly represented my fellow teachers as Franklin Hill Elementary’s union delegate since 2014.
