Our Annual Report

The LUZCO 2024 Annual Report reflects a year of remarkable growth, innovation, and commitment to our core values of Familia, Leadership, and Diversity. This year, we celebrated milestones in leadership development through LUZCO University, embraced collaboration with our cross-departmental Innovation Committee, and achieved outstanding professional accomplishments across our team. As we look ahead, this report highlights our unwavering dedication to empowering our people, advancing our communities, and driving excellence in engineering solutions.

LETTER FROM OUR CEO

LUSNAIL RONDÓN HABERBERGER

As we reflect on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for a year of remarkable achievements, growth, and learning. This past year has been a testament to the power of collaboration, innovation, and resilience, as we navigated challenges and celebrated milestones together.

Our mission to develop leaders and create value for our clients has never been more evident. We made significant strides in enhancing our operations, building stronger internal relationships, and expanding our reach. We have achieved greater accuracy and transparency while fostering deeper client connections. Across our departments, teamwork has flourished, breaking down silos and enhancing collaboration to serve our clients better.

This year also saw the successful launch of two key initiatives: LUZCO University and our Innovation Committee. LUZCO University is empowering our team members to grow as leaders, enhancing both their personal and professional journeys. Meanwhile, the Innovation Committee is positioning us to harness cutting-edge solutions, including AI-driven advancements, ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry. We are eager to see the transformative ideas and processes that will emerge from this group in the coming years.

Externally, we continued to build our reputation as a trusted partner. We secured new contracts, entered Tier 2 opportunities, and expanded our portfolio beyond the utilities sector. This diversification strengthens our foundation and opens doors to new possibilities.

We also celebrated being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in St. Louis—an achievement that underscores our commitment to cultivating a supportive, inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued.

Of course, these accomplishments did not come without challenges. The past seven years have taught us resilience, adaptability, and the importance of learning from our mistakes. These lessons have shaped us into the organization we are today—one that embraces diversity, values family, and strives for excellence in every endeavor.

Looking ahead, we are excited to deepen our client relationships, explore new markets, and continue fostering innovation. The strength of our partnerships and the trust of our clients fuel our drive to achieve even greater success.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are shaping a brighter, more innovative future.

“Our mission to develop leaders and create value for our clients has never been more evident.”

G OVERNANCE

At LUZCO, we believe that true success is measured not just by the milestones we achieve but by the positive impact we create for our people, our communities, and the planet. Our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives reflect this belief, guiding us toward sustainable growth and ethical responsibility.

In 2024, we implemented new efforts to deepen our commitment to sustainability, including the launch of a comprehensive recycling program.

Spearheaded by Katie O’Dea, this initiative introduced designated trashcans throughout our facilities to separate paper and cardboard, metal and aluminum, plastic, glass, and food waste. This program has already significantly reduced our waste footprint and encouraged employees to make environmentally conscious choices. By integrating actionable and measurable ESG practices like these, LUZCO demonstrates that innovation and responsibility go hand in hand, reinforcing our role as a leader in building a sustainable future.

LUZCOMMUNITY

At LUZCO, philanthropy is at the heart of our mission. From our humble beginnings, when we could only offer our time, we have embraced a culture of giving back.

In 2024, our dedication to making a difference reached new heights. We proudly contributed $110,000 to our communities. This achievement was made possible by the tireless efforts of our Philanthropy Committee, led by our 2024 LUZCOmunnity Chair, Elizabeth Klaus. The committee, composed of members Robin Chestnas, Rick Difani, Sarah Fleming, Jim Henry, Cillian Ramage, Colleen Stimac, Luke Stout, Mir Haque, Riah Williams, Katie O’Dea, and Connie Arevalo, worked diligently to identify where LUZCO could make the greatest impact.

The Philanthropy Committee’s contributions went beyond financial support. In total, LUZCO partnered with 25 organizations, donating not only funds but also 328 hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
