We will customise your bike setup to ensure a comfortable ride and provide a safety briefing.

You will be transferred by van to the start of the Roxburgh Gorge Trail, one of New Zealand’s most visually spectacular day rides. The 34km trail follows the mighty Clutha/Mata-Au River through the Roxburgh Gorge. Once you reach Shingle Creek you will embark on a scenic jet boat trip up to Doctors Point. During the 40 minute boat transfer you will explore the schist huts and gold rush relics of the early gold mining days in Central Otago.

Settle in at your boutique ensuite accommodation with dinner reservations available.

Enjoy a scenic boat transfer on the Lake Dunstan Explorer through to Cromwell. On board you’ll get to get up close to the trail and learn about the impressive hydro-electric dam scheme and early gold mining days from this area.

Cycle 42km on the stunning Lake Dunstan Trail, one of New Zealand’s newest and most spectacular trails from Cromwell to Clyde. With a variety of features and terrain including cleverly cantilevered clip-on boardwalks, an 86m suspension bridge and switchbacks to help you navigate the approximately 500m of climbing, this trail will both challenge and reward you.
