ouis Vuitton abrió su Nueva Bond Street Maison en Londres el 28 de mayo pasado. Esta es la más importante asociación de la marca con la ciudad de Londres en 125 años, desde que abriera su primera tienda en 1885. Esta Maison, que refleja el particular art-de-vivre y el savoirfaire de Louis Vuitton, está concebida como el hogar de un coleccionista que sólo ama lo mejor y lo más raro. La Nueva Bond Street ha sido el corazón de la presencia de Louis Vuitton en Londres desde que abriera sus puertas en el 1900. Desde el siglo XVIII, cuando las casas de subastas se establecieron en esta calle, seguidas de cerca por las joyerías y el emporio de la moda, Nueva Bond Street ha tenido la reputación de proveer los mejores artículos de lujo, y hoy es uno de las primeros lugares del mundo que las marcas de lujo internacionales eligen. Louis Vuitton ha lanzado en esta ocasión el “Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project”: una asociación sin precedentes con cinco de las instituciones líderes de Londres, con el propósito de contribuir al desarrollo de la dimensión cultural y artística de las vidas de los jóvenes de esta ciudad. This is the most important date in Louis Vuitton’s 125-year association with the City of London, since it opened its first store in 1885. This Maison, which reflects Louis Vuitton’s rare art-de-vivre and savoir-faire, is conceived as the home of a collector who loves only the best and the rarest. New Bond Street has been the heart of Louis Vuitton’s presence in London since it first opened its doors there in 1900. Since the eighteenth century, when auction houses first established themselves on the street, closely followed by jewelry and fashion emporiums, New Bond Street has had a reputation for supplying the best of luxury goods and is today one of the world’s premier locations for international luxury brands. On this occasion, Louis Vuitton has launched the “Louis Vuitton Young Arts Project”-an unprecedented partnership with five of London’s leading cultural institutions—with the aim of contributing to the development of the cultural and artistic dimension of young people’s lives in London. Situated at the corner of New Bond Street and Clifford Street, this Maison will be, in the words of architect Peter Marino, “the most luxurious Louis Vuitton store to date”.
