don’t know if you’ve noticed it but I’ve found that artists, across all the genres, seem to have a fire in them. It has nothing to do with whether they’re quiet and reclusive or noisy and gregarious...nothing to do with whether they’re prolific or annoyingly unproductive.
No, it just appears to be that this fiery spirit is a kind of pre-requisite if you’re involved in the arts. It’s an elusive, in-built passion which burns and drives them to do what they do. In fact, I have gotten rather good at detecting who is an artist in a crowded room – and can sniff one out at twenty paces...much like I can with chocolate…well almost. Recently I had the pleasure of chatting to two, full-time fiery artists whose works are ablaze with bright, bold and exquisite contemporary brush strokes.
