MATERA SKY AND MATERA PERGOLA
The Matera Retractable Pergola range offers two smart solutions, depending on your space and needs:
A stunning architectural centrepiece, Matera Pergola is a retractable pergola with clean lines and an ultra-modern profile. Unlike other awnings, it features a fixed aluminium frame and a retractable tensioned fabric that glides open and closed with ease, giving you full control over light and ventilation.
MATERA SKY
If you already have a pergola or outdoor frame, Matera Sky lets you enjoy the benefits of a retractable pergola without replacing your existing structure. It’s a smart, stylish upgrade for existing outdoor areas and an ideal alternative to outdoor blinds or awnings.
Designed to be mounted to a fixed frame, Matera Sky provides the same beautiful finish and motorised fabric tension system, in a more flexible format.
Engineered as a premium shading system, it requires a 12-17 degree slope for optimal installation (not intended for rain protection). Matera Sky is powered by Somfy ® Orea RTS motors for whisper-quiet, reliable operation.

Support Posts
The Matera Pergola comes with fixed support posts as standard, but for added flexibility, you can upgrade to an adjustable post available in an easy-to-use crank option. On rainy days, simply lower the posts by up to 300 mm to let water run off with ease. Then, raise them back to their original height before retracting the fabric, and your pergola is ready to enjoy again, rain or shine.
