JERRY WILDE was featured on NBC’s TODAY show on June 4, 2013. The story was about his kidney transplant from Becky Melton, which inspired the creation of the Find a Kidney Central Facebook page by Leah Hostalet. Wilde has written a book, Washed in Blood, which tells the story of how he came to need a kidney transplant. He is a professor of educational psychology at Indiana University East in Richmond, Ind.
