JENNY SOROM HYNEK teaches first grade for the Reedsburg (Wis.) School District. MARK LYON is a regional sales consultant for Ameriprise Financial in Arden Hills, Minn. CHRIS (KULIG) and JEFF PFUND ’92 live in Madison, Wis. She is a researcher for the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is assistant director of financial aid at the university.

PAUL BROWNELL is the defensive coordinator for the Franklin High School football team in El Paso, Texas. SUSIE COLE earned a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She is a physical therapist at Aegis Therapies in Redding, Calif. CHAD FRANK of River Falls, Wis., is the account manager at Overland Solutions Inc.
KARI (JOHNSON) HEIMDAL works at Okoboji Elementary School. She recently developed a new curriculum for the district that was featured in the Dickinson County News and Spencer Daily Reporter. The program, called ACT—Adapt, Create, Think, is a new method for inspiring original ideas.

SHAWN BUSBY is a consultant for IBM Corporation in Rochester, Minn. SARA (ECKBLAD) and MATTHEW FRICK ’94 live in Rochester, Minn. She is a human resource systems analyst for the Mayo Foundation–Mayo Medical School. He received the 2012 Carmen Award for Excellence in Citizenship, which recognizes outstanding contributions in radiology at Mayo Clinic. He is a physician and the senior associate consultant for the Radiology Department at Mayo Clinic. ANDREW GALUSKI is manager of Sumisho Computer Systems USA in Irving, Texas. JULIE JENSEN is associate director of health information services for Partners in Health in Rwinkwavu, Rwanda, while on sabbatical from Luther. KRIS KINSEY is senior lecturer for
the department of psychology and faculty of health and life sciences at the University of the West of England in Bristol. REBECCA (BORKE) RUTTER is pastor at Sharon United Methodist Church in Plainfield, Ill.

MELISSA (GEURTS) BARKLEY is the professional development writer for Renaissance Learning in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. BECKY (PARTINGTON) BERKLEY is band director at St. Mary’s School in Owatonna, Minn. RENEE (RITTMANN) and ERIC MERTEN live in Waverly, Iowa. She is a computer programmer with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. He is assistant professor of biology at Wartburg College. MELISSA (HAGEN) and SEAN TARPENNING live in Eau Claire, Wis. She is a stay-at-home mom. He is a dentist for Herbert Dental. He was a member of a nine-person team that traveled to Ghana as a part of Operation Dignity to provide dentistry in March 2013. ANDREA (WEHRMACHER) WILKERSON is the audit manager for KPMG in Minneapolis.

ALINA (SABATKE) BAILEY is the clinical care supervisor for The Birth Center in Minneapolis. CHRISTINA (WEBB) and JAMES DEEDS ’99 live in West Des Moines, Iowa. She is an office assistant at KCL Engineering. He is partner and an electrical engineer at the company. MELANIE (ANDROS) AND DREW DIXON ’99 live in St. Peter, Minn. She is a family physician for Mayo Health Systems. He is a data center engineer for Solbrekk Inc. TURENA JOHSON LANE and TODD LANE ’95 live in Baton Rouge, La. Todd is an assistant men’s and women’s track and field coach at Louisiana State University. He also traveled to the London 2012 Olympics to coach one of his athletes.
