STEPHANIE KIRSTEIN earned a master’s degree in literacy education from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a teacher at Thomas Kelly High School in Chicago and is also the coach for the school’s Students for Social Justice Club. ADAM LOY earned a Ph.D. in statistics from Iowa State University. He is a visiting professor of statistics at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wis. AMANDA (ELLSON) MADSEN is head athletic trainer at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.

MEGHAN (GESING) and JOHN PALMER ’03 own a certified organic dairy farm near Waukon, Iowa. Their family was chosen to be featured in a regional marketing campaign for Organic Valley, their farmer-owned cooperative. She is also a visiting clinical faculty member in the Nursing Department at Luther.

MATTHEW BUSCHE ’07 live in Girona, Spain. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology from New Mexico State University. He is a professional cyclist with RadioShack-LeopardTrek. He helped his teammate, Chris Horner, win the Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain), one of cycling’s prestigious three-week-long Grand Tours, last September. Horner, at age 41, became the oldest champion of one of the Grand Tours. RYAN GIBBS is director of youth and growth ministries for Webster Hills United Methodist Church in St. Louis. CHANDRA (SKINNER) JENNINGS earned a Ph.D. in health education from the University of Kansas. She is an assistant professor of community health education for the University of Maine at Farmington. ERIKA KAMBS of Decorah is director of the 2014 Oneota Film Festival. ANDREA KRUSE earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership from St. Catherine University. She is a financial associate for Thrivent Financial in Albion, Neb.

NATHAN MOSER earned an associate of applied science degree in information technology and network administration from Des Moines Area Community College. He is a client architect for LightEdge Solutions in Des Moines, Iowa.

JANA (SMITH) and NICK LARSON live in Minneapolis. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota and is a registered nurse for Abbott Northwestern Hospital. He is a mortgage consultant for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
