With the help of his good friend MEL OLSON ’68, Haase created Home for the Holidays, a community concert modeled after Christmas at Luther. The production includes five high school choirs with more than 340 singers, a children’s choir, a local hand bell choir, and a full symphony orchestra composed of professional musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and other Twin Cities–area orchestras. Founded in 2006, the concert is adding a fourth performance in 2013, since the performances have been selling out.

KATYA OUCHAKOF is a pastor for Cooksville Lutheran Church in Evansville, Wis. RON ROBINSON wrote a chapter for the book The Art of Being Healthy, which was released in October 2013. The book is a collaborative effort to bring more awareness to natural health and each individual’s ability to be well. Robinson, who earned a doctor of chiropractic degree from the University of Western States, lives in North Liberty, Iowa. LEAH DUNHAM and her father, Arthur, a large-animal veterinarian in northeast Iowa, turned his veterinary notes into a book about how changes in the agriculture industry have affected animal health. In the book America’s Two-Headed Pig: Treating Nutritional Deficiencies and Disease in a Genetically Modified, Antibiotic Resistant, and Pesticide Dependent World, Leah explains how several veterinary diagnoses have been complicated by many twentyfirst-century agricultural systems and explores how animal science has been deformed and corrupted by vested interests. ANDREW HAUGEN is a special education teacher for Century Junior High School in Forest Lake, Minn. MANDY HENDERSON and DAVE ROWLEY ’05 live in Boulder, Colo.
