Cincinnati Nature Center

Hiking trails traverse through old-growth forests, through grasslands and along ponds, lakes and streams to show off this majestic masterpiece.

Discover the historic Krippendorf Estate on the Upland Trail or enjoy a more challenging hike on the Far Ridge Trail to Harmony Ridge where you can hang a hammock and relax. Bird watchers be sure to hike the Redwing Trail.

Chilo Lock 34 Park

A former Army Corps of Engineer Lock and Dam, this 3-story brick building has been transformed into a visitor center and regional museum full of hands-on activities.

In addition to the river views, the adjacent Crooked Run Nature Preserve offers an easy walking trail with an observation deck where over 180 species of birds have been sighted. Grab your binoculars and look for Bald Eagles, ducks, geese, winter loons, warblers and more.
