PROJECT BRIEF The project mainly focused on masterplanning. A strip of site was selected from Candolim to Baga stretch in Goa based on particular themes each groups have selected. Each group had to redesign the selected strip based on their theme and develop a masterplan. The strip was interpreted and divided into three areas- Street edge, Intermediate and Beach edge.

Later on groups were divided into subgroups of two and were to work on detailing their selected area of focus and later individually detail out a selected cluster.

SPIRIT OF THE PLACE The strip brings authenticity of Goa. The strip would envision a public central spine with multiple experiences linking the two destination potentials; the beach and the mangrove edge,among a few private enclaves and this will act as a Central open space envisioned as a regional destination that includes spaces for recreation, events, markets and garden. The Immediate context is surrounded by private resorts, a few commercial shops, restaurants, and residential areas.

Opening the street to pedestrians and limiting through traffic, streets can support physical activity, social interaction and can strengthen community by considering the needs of locals and visitors alike in order to make a positive impact on the stretch as a whole and create a healthier living, working and enjoyable environment. It will be a utilization of the complete potential of natural, cultural and experiential features of the stretch through robust urban design interventions by combining Urban, rural and natural spirit. And it would be a primeval slice of Goan life ideal for a tourism that takes environmental, social and cultural sustainability into account, enriching the spirits of the place.

A design not exclusively focused on tourism, but allowing the combination of traditional and innovative uses which aim to improve Goan daily life by offering a myriad of op- portunities. It will be a utilization of the complete potential of natural, cultural and experiential features of the stretch through urban design interventions by combining Urban, rural and natural spirit.

PROJECT BRIEF The project was to design an IT office building for two different companies on a one acre plot, which has a canal runnung along it’s east edge. The requirements were to design a working space according to office hierarchy for employees working in each company. Other ammenities & recreational spaces could be assumed. The major goal of the project was to understand basic service systems of the high-rise building & incorporating it with the design.

PROJECT BRIEF

The project was to design an individual residence for a businessman and his family in a site of area 80 cents, which has a beautiful stream running along it,s rear edge. The residents included a businessman, his wife, two kids and parents. This included a four bedroom home with a seperate formal and private living space and a guest house connected to the house without disturbing his private life.

PROJECT BRIEF The goal of the project is to create a business district on an 8-12 acre plot of land using a selected typology Pheripheral arrabgement of blocks. The current situation necessitates infrastructure connectivity as well as a working environment. The total built-up area will be between 2 and 4 lakh square feet. Later on, A selected cluster was detailed out.

VISION “Creating urban fluidity through a porous urban fabric” Fluidity in this design refers to seamlessness where there is a movement within the space without any obstruction. It gives a feeling of being in motion while being in a solid, closed matter. It encompasses factors such as curves, flow, dynamic nature, and flexibility. Design promotes social interaction between the people who will occupy the site. In order to do this, our plans are to position social amenity spaces at the heart of the scheme, complemented by a series of elevated connected walkaways which navigate the land and the internal movement to allow connectivity and fluidity when passing through.
