Professional Experience Across Industries
Luis’s professional journey began at Motorola, Inc. in Florida, where he took on roles as an HR Business Partner and Manager In these positions, he contributed to shaping HR strategies that supported business growth and operations. His time at Motorola laid the groundwork for his future in HR leadership, giving him the tools to build employee engagement strategies while working closely with senior management.
He then moved on to Kellogg Company, a leading $19 billion global food manufacturer in Battle Creek, MI During his tenure at Kellogg, Luis was a Senior HR Business Partner and Senior Employee Relations Consultant. His ability to navigate complex organizational structures and enhance the company’s HR functions stood out, especially given the global scale of the organization, which employed more than 33,000 individuals.
Luis’s career progressed further when he joined Grainger Industrial Supply, a major $10.5 billion global B2B industrial supply company. He served as Senior HR Manager, overseeing HR functions for 13 distribution centers across the U.S. and Mexico. His work in this role focused on implementing lean methodologies, improving employee engagement, and driving a “pay for performance” culture within the company.
