Introduction. The present text it is what we consider or name as a Digital Magazine. What is a Magazine and what is its purpose? Well, Magazines are designed to be read from front to back. It has a cover and a table of contents. Magazines are arranged in a series of articles. There is a no predefined table of contents, although there is arrangement in the form of categories, topic pages, and related articles. So, what is a digital magazine? It’s a bit of a hybrid, and it’s not necessarily just an online magazine, although it could be! Mainly, it is a digital edition as distribution of a magazine’s content via electronic means. Important Parts of a Digital Magazine: Searchable, Portable, and Universal The user wants to be able to revisit certain information from past issues, especially when that content becomes even more relevant to them. A searchable digital magazine will allow the user to find this content easily. Magazine readers can bring their favorite issues with them wherever they choose. With tablet devices, digital magazines can be as portable as their print counterparts. To present digital magazines properly, issues should be available on any platform that delivers editorial content and colored images. This means digital magazines should be available through tablets, laptops, and tablets. This digital magazine is formed mainly by 6-7 types of texts that vary from essays, articles, letters, reviews, poems, and even memoirs that we have made this school year. In this compilation of diverse texts, there is going to be a diversity of genres because of the texts previously mentioned. The main purpose of this work is to present our job to our classmates showing the skills that we developed in the subjects of Literature and English Seminar throughout the year. We are going to present an example of each of the texts in this Digital Magazine.

Universal Poem By: Luis D. Padilla Limón Far, far away, through the great and wide sky, The magical white fields that before us lie, Any universe, with the stars that around of it roll, Each world, balanced on his turning pole, With its green isles, and clouds of white, And the waters that flow like liquid light. For the source of glory that lies on his covered face, And the brightness that overflows the unlimited space, And as we go, we drink the luminous tides, In our pure air and blooming country sides, At the distance, the living splendorous play, Far away, on our great path, away! And admire, where the brighter day-beams pour, How the rainbows are hanging in the sunny shower, And the morning and evening, with their variety of tones, Change over the bright stars and vanish their tears; And between both, over the ground, With her shadowy cone the night goes all-around‌

Our Christmas Miracle By: Paula Alvarez Hernández It was a Christmas morning, for a crazy problem that I and Diego have we should go to the school, we need to make a revision of the installations of it, sometimes the cold of the season paralyze the doors, Windows, and it´s quite difficult when we come back to open them. Because of that the school made brigades to control this, with the students and the teachers, obviously, no one want the 24 and the 31 of December so when we are near t start the vacations all the students try to be the first to go to the direction and said in which day they are going to go and make the revision of the school. For a problem that my best friend we have, the principal punished us by going to the school the 24 and the 31. We have friends that don´t think that what we do was quite important or dangerous, I mean, is it dangerous to play near the balcony, I don´t think that, but, to the principal it was just a sin to make that. So, here I am, I´m preparing myself to go to the school and join Diego, suddenly a message appears in my cell phone, it´s Diego telling me that we have to hurry if we want to be ready for the dinner, we have to go and finish this soon. That it´s the last thing that I see until I go out of my house try to catch a bus with the hope that I can be in the school at 10 o´clock, and hoping that Diego is not there until I arrived, The bus, when he stops in front of me the only person that I see is the bus driver, great, no one is taking the bus in my zone, this should be the best part of Christmas, no one is taking the bus, because come on, probably the only person that takes the bus is because is because they have something to do really important and they can just leave that, or they forget the Christmas present of someone, because let´s admit that sometimes it happen.

So, as usually I just say Hi to the bus driver while I give him the money and go to the last seats of the bus, I really love that place, when you are in that place you can see all the people that is taking the bus, their expressions, everything, that is something that I really enjoy, see people that I don´t know, but the difference between Diego and me in that aspect is that I prefer not to talk to the and Diego is that kind of boy that talks to every person in the world. I usually talk to the boy that always seats beside me, but of course today he is not here because come on, it´s Christmas, I shouldn´t be here, I was supposed to be at home preparing the dinner or playing by text message with Diego, while I think this I start to promise myself that I would never do that again, I don´t want to spend another Christmas like this. When I arrive and Diego is already there, I´m not going to lie, he´s really handsome, he really like to be with his friends, but I honestly don´t like to be with them, so he respect it and don´t tell me anything -Reni! I was thinking that you will leave here with the guard.- He says to me while I walk to him. -I honestly was thinking that. - I said while I give him a kiss in his check. -Well… Let´s go, I want to finish this soon. - He says. We star walking to the principal door and the guard just see us and not with a lovely face, maybe because he needs to be here until we finish. -I´m going to tell you the truth, he always have that face- Whisper Diego in my ear- But he´s a really good and lovely person.-How do you know that? - I ask to him. -Because… I don´t know, but, when he think that is alone he acts in other way- He answer

And with that we enter and start our mission, we star with our classroom, yes, we are in some way selfish, and we continue with the other classroom and the principal’s office, then with the teachers room, the weather it is kind of sad, the clouds are above of us, they are grey, like they were sad, it is a crazy and sad weather for a beautiful day like this, it is suppose that is Christmas, they should be a sun at least, because of the season, but that don´t even appear. I feel the hand of Diego in my shoulder and I notice that he is near me, i mean, we usually don´t we this closer, I admit that his attitude makes me feel nervous. -Can I tell you a secret? - Diego ask while he is looking to the sky. Okay, this increase my feeling of nervous, I must stay calm -Yes, of course- I said while I turn my face to see him. -I am in love with the little things of the life- He said and look in my eyes. When he says that is like a relief for me, I mean, I am not in love with Diego, and if he says something like “I love you” it would be so uncomfortable, because I really don´t like him. - I already know that…... well, I have always infer that, but you never tell me if I was right. - I say to him -Yes, well, now you know. - He smiles – And… guess what-What happen? - I ask -Well, you are going try to kill me but, I don´t have a Christmas presentHe whisper in my ear. -Are kidding me?!- I scream while I put my hands in the hair- I think that you have already looking for it-Well… I was looking for it….. In my house- he answer while I see him -Of course you are not going to find in your own house, well... Maybe if you are going to do it, in that cause you might find it in your house- I say

-Yeah, I know, maybe we could go to the shops when we finish this work-I honestly don´t think that we are going to find a present. And the stores are going to be full with people like you that leave the present for the last moment. - I say angry - I know, I just was thinking that you could help me in this problem- Has he finish the air change, it was so cold that my hands were like icebergs suddenly change to a warm air, like when you enter to a bakery and everything it is warm and the smell is of fresh bread. A light at the corner of the class illuminates the hold place, closing the windows that we open previously and the door. Diego and I see each other, I am really scared if it wasn´t or the warm air inside I would already get out of that place; everything it is quite and the light is still in the corner, but as we get closer, the star becomes bigger and brightener, we are to near that I touch it, the star suddenly become to a Little object, it is like a Little toy, like the ones that gives you in the McDonalds, with the difference that is with a gold color and have big eyes that see Diego and me. -Start move slowly- I whisper to Diego while I step backward -I know, I am not stupid, I am not going to run- He whispers in return The Little “toy” start moving in the room and around us, until it stops in front of my. -Hi, my name is Hap, I help the persons like you to understand the meaning of this beautiful season and day- says while I looks in Diego´s direction -Are you a female? Diego asks moving his head -Yes, I am- She responds

-Okay…. Why you are here? - I ask while I see them both Hap see me and starts flying around me, from head to toes, I get nervous, maybe this is the day in which I have been more nervous in the hole year, when she finish she stop in my head and lay down my Bonnet. -You are a really good person - She says while she looks in my eyes- I can notice in your spiritHap do it again but now with Diego, with him she do it twice or more, she her spinning around Diego makes me feel dizzy. She stops in the same place, above his head. -You are a good person, but sometimes you follow the others and that could led you to some bad consequences, think about it before you do it.she says Diego and I look very confused, this day shouldn´t be like this, and it should be quite good, with the angry of being in the school but at the end pf the day quite good. I wasn´t expecting this! -Why you are here? - I ask Hap -God gives every single person an angel, I am your angel Renata, God send me to protect you, and the only difference is that now you can see me. - She says -But, what is your purpose?-I want you two, to understand that this season is just a time to give and receive love, not to have presents, I want to understand that, and because of that I am going to tell you a story. - She says- Please sit down. -But the floor is cold. - Diego says. -No, that is not true- Hap says while her laughs- Do you feel this warm air? -Yes- We both respond -I can warm the air and everyplace in which I am including the floorAs she finish to say that we sit down in the floor.

“Once upon a time in 1914 there was a boy that loves to receive presents from everyone in this season, he always have presents, until one day that no one buy him presents, that morning the boy woke up and go down to the tree and search for the presents, and he receives the surprise that nothing was there, the boy was really disappointed, he wanted toys, bicycles, everything! I was his angel, I try to convince to calm down and wait until his parents tell something about it. But he was to mad that I finally went with God and explain him the problem that I have with my Little boy, that he was expecting a toy that never appear, in that moment God see me and says “Hap, the boy have to understand that the purpose of this season is not to have toys” In that moment I was really confused, I didn´t understand why God send that to the family of my Little kid, they were rich people, but as I went down to the house of the boy I realized that God was totally in the truth, the boy have always had everything that he want with any struggle, and maybe God wanted to make him see that not everything in this life is easy, after the end of that day, my kid understand that, and in January he received his toy, when he discovered he was to happy, so he keep the toy until he died, remembering that if you understand the meaning of the season.. In that moment, you can receive and give presents to the people.” -So, what you want me to understand, is that I can give my love instead of a present? - Diego ask -Yes, that´s right- Hap say -Yes! Reni, I have Christmas present! - He screams. -Thank you Hap! Now Diego can go home in peace. - I say to Hap Hap says “Goodbye” and disappears has soon as she appears leaving the room still with the warm air. Diego and I both we went to our houses, now understanding the meaning of this incredible season.

Autobiographical Short Story By: Carlos H. Torres Villanueva
Carlos Hello everyone, I am Carlos, I’m 16 years old and my life is a complete mess. I graduate from primary school with honors, but when I enter the secondary school, all my life start to blow up, to start my grades aren’t the best ones, I think that I was the kid with the higher difference in grades from primary school to secondary school, it was because I become lazy I guess, I never did homework’s, I barely did all my works, and also my laziness make me regret to study for exams, this last one make a big difference for my grades. The grades weren’t my only problem, my social life also go down, I stop talking to most of my friends, I stop going out, and I never go out in recess so it didn’t help to my public relationships, also I stop talking in person with my best friend, that makes me lose her. What else, also my economical life wasn’t as good as always, my father’s stop giving me all the money they usually give me, so I star prioritizing all the money, so I didn’t die from hungry. But not everything was as bad as it sounds, the only good part of secondary school, was as always, my romantic relationships, but don’t miss understand me, my romantic life wasn’t a mess, but it wasn’t anything I can tell good.

My Romantic Life
This is my story, in resume I had experimented love for 13 years, in all that time I got attracted to 4 girls, 2 of them a little bit, other for more than 9 years, but I am sure that the one I loved and love the most is Natalia. And I think that love is a feeling that never leaves you, that’s the reason I think she is the only one I have loved in my entire life. Why? Because, I have never forgotten her, I always remember her, in my free time, the only one that makes me company is her, so I think that if I really love someone in my life, is that beautiful girl. By experience I can tell you all that love doesn’t have ages, and not because she is a lot older than me, I can tell you that is true because the first and I think the only time I have really fell in love was when I was like 3 years old. My romantic life is a complete mess. My First Love, the Girl that I can’t forget, Natalia, was in the school only 3 years, my first 3 years of school, I was only a kid, a very young kid but I am never going to forget that felling. It was like first sight love, when I first meet Natalia, the first time I saw her I understand what real love is, in that moment, in the bottom of my heart, I felt that I wanted to spend my whole life with her, I didn’t know that she was going to be the only person that I couldn’t forget. I didn’t know that she was going to be so special to me. 12
When I think about that lovely girl I met in Kindergarten all the memories invade me, how she looks, the characteristic smell that she had, that beautiful smile, and the melodious sound of her voice, I remember every aspect of her face. I remember everything, all the recess I spent by her side, all the Valentine’s Days in which I always gave her a present, every class, every event, every time we come back from vacations and the only thing I really wanted was to see her again, I remember every moment by her side. But I have never been a lucky person in love, when I decided myself to tell her the feelings I had for her, she left the school, without giving me the chance to tell her, so I felt in a deep depression for a long time. As I have said, I could never forget her completely but, after some time, I fell in love for someone else, her name was Alexandra, she is the one I used to like for more than 9 years. The first 5 years I didn’t say anything, I really don’t remember the reason why I stayed in silence. Some years later, I told her that I liked her a lot, it was a Valentine’s Day, I bought her a teddy bear, some chocolates and flowers, I also made a letter for her with all my feelings, I gave everything to her, but she doesn’t liked me so nothing happened for like 3 years.

Then I liked other girl, but as always, when I told her all about my feelings, she told me, that she didn’t want something with me. But with this one, the story is so funny; she used to like me, I didn’t know about it, but she knew I liked Alexandra, so she began liking someone else, and when that happened, I started liking her too, I was alone again and with another girl. Time passed, and I tried another time with Alexandra, this time she wanted to give me an opportunity. A year passed and then we went out in a date; because of the opportunity I believed that she liked me so I asked her to be something more than friends but she didn’t want that so we remained as friends. In my pain, I met someone that I could say, is the other girl. I felt for her at first sight, I didn’t want to start something without finishing the last “relationship” that I had, so I tried to make her finish the relationship, but as always, with my luck, she wanted to give me again an opportunity but I really didn’t want to get harmed again, so I told her to stop trying. The last girl I like, is more like friend so as always, I am going to spent the next Valentine’s Day alone. Some weeks ago, I found Natalia, and the only thing I can ask for is to have a happy ending, with Natalia or with other girl, more than that, I want someone, to be with her in the good and bad moments, to hug, to kiss, to make her feel that she is the most awesome girl in the world, someone to make her happy.

Acceptance for others By: Danna K. Ortiz Solis Accepting others is a very important part of life, especially for society. For the human, the necessity to accept others as they are is a yet an issue. We need to accept others as they are to live in peace under the same equivalent standards, traits such as attitude, beliefs, personality, physical appearance and religion play an important role in the way that we interact with people. Tolerance is the most necessary quality of man, intolerance leads to the worst disaster; many people have problems to integrate into society because they have a life that is difficult, many of our enemies are the outcome of our intolerance. We cannot make justice, because we are intolerant to listening the views which are different for ours. So intolerance is a very bad feature. Tolerance developed a society in which people fells valued and respected, every person has room for living with his or her own ideas, wishes and thoughts. Practicing tolerance is essential in all walks of life. In all the countries the flag is like a symbol and all the people who live there must respect the flag and their authorities. Remember the way to preserve the flag´s special role is not punish those who feel differently about these matters. It is to persuade them that they are wrong. Some countries have problems with each other because they think in a different way, or they have another way of living or because they are jealous or ambitious to be best in all the world. War is the result of intolerance which prevents us to communicate to reach the same objective.

In conclusion, I think the most important thing that we have to do is be tolerance and accept the freedom of speech that all the people have, we can avoid the problems if we want to improve the world respecting the different religious, attitude, physical appearance, the personality and the economic level and trying to be a better person in the world.

Spend Free Time By: Paula Alvarez Hernández Nowadays we have a clear “problem” about how the teenagers spend their free time, some of them spend time with their families and some others with their friends. What do you think is better?
Firstly, it depends on the teens, some have problems with their parents but that does not mean they can’t do different activities, like swimming, eating together, going to the cinema.
Secondly it is the factor of how busy the parents are and it is because this can cause that the teenagers do not have time with their families and as well as that they spend more time with their friends or alone.
Finally, in my opinion I think that we can have and spend time with family and friends, the only thing that you need to consider is the time and how often you see each part.
In conclusion, for me it´s good to spend time with both parts, and how you manage both it is very important, with the family and friends you can make healthy activities and also find a hobby and practice it

St Patrick´s Day in the world…? By: Luis D. Padilla Limón The truth is that this might not be as impossible as it sounds. Because of the Irish immigration towards other countries, some festivals are being adopted in diverse cities. Because of other festivities in honor to other saints in Europe and America, there is the idea that this day it is going to be as any other celebration… But that people couldn’t be more mistaken! First, let’s analyze who was St Patrick; he was the Patron Saint of Ireland, it is believed that he introduced the Christianity to the previously mentioned country. Some activities that happen worldwide in honor to this day (depending on the country) are: assist to the great parade that is celebrated on the city of Dublin, Ireland. You can also visit to some important cities of Argentina (Buenos Aires, Cordoba, and Rosario). Or you can go to Spain during the months of October ‘til December to the city of La Coruña to take part in a great festival that is bigger than the others before mentioned (except for the one of Ireland) Finally, it is your decision to go and enjoy this great celebration. Maybe you can get some Irish luck in your trip!

E-Mail By: Danna K. Ortiz Solis Hi Helen. How are you? I´m very excited about my new room; so, I’m going to tell you what we did. First I won a makeover in a contest, I only answered questions about science and if I answered correctly I could play for another prize. So, I won a makeover and I decided to modify my room. On October 8th they modified my room, now the color of my walls is green with a white tree in the middle of one of my walls. I have a new TV, I chose my furniture and other things that I would like to have in my room now I have a big place where I can dance without breaking something or without hitting me because I have a lot of space. Definitely, Maybe By: Carlos H. Torres Villanueva The film I am going to talk about is called “Definitely, Maybe”, this movie was produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, is a Romantic Comedy that occurs in 1992, in the city of New York. The actors that give life to the movie are, Ryan Reynolds as “Will Hayes”, Abigail Breslin as “Maya” the daughter of Will, and the 3 actresses Elizabeth Banks, Rachel Weisz, and Isla Fisher that are the ones, Will felt in love. The story is about how Will felts in love with the mother of Maya and all the things he has to do, to have a relationship with every one of them. My favourite scene is when Will finally tell Maya who is her mother and they meet again. I really Love this movie, because is an excellent romantic film, with a touch of comedy. I recommend this movie to everyone that wants to live the emotions of a love story.

(Film Review) Life is beautiful By: Paula Alvarez Hernández The film I would like to review is “Life is beautiful”, the story is based on the year 1930 in the kingdom of Italy, it is important to take into account that the original name of the movie is “La Vita è Bella”. The actors that carry the movie are Roberto Benigni as Guido Orefice a Jewish, Nicoletta Braschi as Dora the wife of Guido and Giorgio as Giosevè. The beginning of this story is when Guido and Dora start dating and after several weeks they get married and have Giosevè, their son. When the 2 World War begin Guido is arrested with his son and the action begins. The movie has won a lot of prizes and one academy awards for best actor. I really like this movie because it shows you a reality that happen, and makes you appreciate more your own life. I recommend this movie for the ones who like Italian movies, and drama.

Conclusion We conclude that this work help us to be more helpful and to work better in team; it is important to work in team, because in the future we are going to deal with new situations in our life for example: Suppose that in an editorial the boss make teams to earn a bonus and all the teams need to create the best story, a new book, something out of the ordinary. Of Corse all the teams want to win, so they create different stories, and one of the teams discovered that there is one excellent story, so they decide to exist they try to change some things to make the story more interesting and they start to feel frustrated. It is good to work in team because you can use like a scale to evaluate your level, your capacity and get help to improve your weak points but it´s also bad because there is a sense of rivalry. In my opinion my team and I worked very well, we had no problems and all we hear the opinions of the others. It was difficult to decide who is going to do certain things like the cover or an essay, but finally we select some of the best writings and others represent our feelings and they show another perspective of the life, sometimes we feel very tired and stressed out. It was a challenge have everything on time and correct without any mistakes, and I think we did it; but like humans that we are, always we make mistakes, and this make more stressful the work because is our responsibility to have everything perfectly. Our purpose is that people try to feel as if they were who wrote the texts in our magazine, each of our pieces of writing, any way to express what we want; is also a form that we use to escape and express our problems, feelings and situations that we are afraid to say, with this, presentation our progress in this project, so the audience maybe may understand us and in some occasions feel identified with us.
