NetApp as a Service (NaaS) allows organizations to augment their private cloud with enterprise class cloud based storage to deliver a secure, robust, off-site secondary storage platform utilizing NetApp Private Storage for AWS (NPS) or Cloud ONTAP. NaaS delivers a dedicated vFiler or SVM instances hosted within one of Day1 Solutions Tier II data centers (NPS) or an Amazon VPC with Cloud ONTAP Delivered over a secure IP connection to your enterprise, NaaS is capable of acting as a secondary CIFS, NFS or iSCSI storage array.

By utilizing NetApp SnapMirror and SnapVault technology, data can be replicated to the NaaS platform to deliver extended resilience and Disaster Recovery capabilities, ready to stand-in at a moment’s notice if your primary storage arrays experience an issue.

SnapMirror Replication SnapMirror data replication leverages NetApp unified storage to turn disaster recovery into a business accelerator.
